The Harlots consist of: Buck Garinger (vocals/guitar), Brad Garinger (vocals/guitar), Charles Garinger (bass/vocals), and Mark Sawatzky (drums/sometimes sings KISS).
A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BAND:
The Harlots were formed in December 1997, after The Ballroom Zombies' unfortunate break-up. Brad, Charles and Mark were in the band and the front man for the Zombies, Robin Black decided to pursue a music career in Toronto, hence the birth of Robin Black and the Intergalactic Rock Stars and The Harlots. You may say that the band had split to form two more awesome bands.
Besides the already united Charles, Mark and Brad, the 3 decided that they needed to add someone else to the band that could also take on singing and guitar responsibilities. After many rumors flying around and everyone in suspense thinking "Who will it be?", Buck Garinger, Brad and Charles' younger brother, joined.
Buck already had his band Riverdale High that has since became the rawkin The Remains as well as drumming for other Winnipeg bands every once and a while, but he put all his concentration into the Harlots long enough for them to write new material that they introduced to Winnipeg at their debut on January 2nd.
The Harlots are moving up the Winnipeg music scene fast, opening for acts like treble charger, Zuckerbaby, and their most recent victory, Motley Crue and continue to play at least a few shows each month.
