China Boy Club

Just about everyplace in the world has a Chinese restaurant these days, and Malibu is proud to be the home of many such places. This Chinese restaurant has some of the best food at some of the best prices around. Don't worry about going away hungry or about being hungry after a couple of hours; this place is notorious for it's large platters which often find their way to a doggie bag at the end of a meal. This place has had it's share of trouble though... China Boy Club was just recently discovered to be a meeting place for Asian spies, but the authorities assure the public that the recent raid led by the CIS had put an end to that. Although many people now feel that it is safe once again to dine at this restaurant, around the time of the alleged raid by the CIS there was a rumor of a bug problem. The nearest that I could get to any word on the bug problem was something about the bugs having 2,000 eyes. This bug story; I feel was just a rumor and should be ignored.

Ye Old English Tea Room

This quaint tea room with it's well known Gypsy Tea Room appears to be much more than it really is. There is some charm to this small tea room, but it does not leave a great impression on the customer. The tea is exquisite and I highly recommend you should try this place at least once if you are fond of tea. The tea leave reading that this place offers is somewhat amusing to those who may have an interest in fortune telling. Other than that this place is really not the kind of place one would really want to spend a great deal of time at. The reason why this place is not really that great is simply in the total atmosphere of the place. The furniture is cheap and the China leaves much to be desired.
