Chapter 1 : Summer Holidays and Enemies

It was the summer right after his seventh year or sixth for Ginny. A lot of things changed for himself, Ron, and Hermione during the past three years. Some were awfully strange. First, Ron and Hermione were a couple now, poor Cho was sent off to St. Mungo’s Hospital For Magical Maladies and Injuries after Cedric Diggory’s death, he and Ginny got closer as friends, and the one he found most strange is that he, Ron, and Hermione all became friends with Draco Malfoy. One person who Ginny completely and utterly detested. But no matter, Ginny would always be his friend. She was there for him when Ron and Hermione were too busy wrapped in each other. Ginny did convince him that she no longer had a crush on him. She would talk about a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff boy, usually Justin Finch - Fletchley, every now and then. He could tell Ginny just about anything. He only guessed it was the same for her.

Draco was another story. He saved Draco’s life and if it hadn’t been for Draco, Voldemort would have succeeded in killing the famous Harry Potter. He and Draco had killed Voldemort together. So afterwards it only seemed right to be friends. Although, they rarely talked with each other in front of their houses, they always would meet up in the library to talk. They still had to fight for Draco’s sake. If Draco’s fellow Slytherins found out about him being friends with Harry Potter. There is no telling what they would do. They all got through it in the end.

Ron’s family forgave Draco, everyone except Ginny that is. Mrs. Weasley said it would be pointless to hold a grudge against Draco since it was Draco’s father and not Draco himself that tortured the family so many years. He thought Ginny didn’t see in that way. He seemed to think that Ginny thought Draco had done too many unforgivable things. Ron had become very friendly toward Draco. Which he thought was very surprising. Draco will be staying that the Burrow this summer along with himself and Hermione. But he was worried about how Draco’s being there was going to affect Ginny.

~ ~ ~

She knew her summer wasn’t going to be fine. Her sixth year was great, despite the fact she had to put up the Draco Malfoy. This summer was going to be completely awful to her. She was so mad at Ron for inviting Malfoy to the Burrow for the entire summer. She was even more angry when she found out that the little bastard accepted the invitation. She thought it might not be all to bad given the fact that Harry and Hermione were going to be there as well. Still it didn’t help. Harry, Ron, and Hermione always made this perfect little circle that no one could get into. Not even Malfoy, who went through all those things with Harry. She didn’t mind not being in the circle when Draco wasn’t around, but not that he is, it is always Harry, Ron, Hermione, and her and Draco. Which she didn’t like at all. She completely hated Draco Malfoy. He is useless. Everyone has forgiven him except her. And she wasn’t going to forgiven him any time soon either. He had done to many horrible things. So what if she killed his evil infested father. That still doesn’t change the fact that he killed his own father. So what if he betrayed the Death Eaters. That doesn’t change the fact that he was one.

She tried to spend as much time away from Malfoy as possible. Which she hated it because he was usually around Harry and Ron and she hated being without Harry. Harry is her best friend. She could tell him anything without him running off to tell Ron. ( which Hermione often did) She did like that fact that she has to put up with Malfoy. She only does it because Harry and Ron asked her to. They were the two people she loved the most. The only two people she couldn’t deny them anything of.

If someone told him three years ago that he would be friends with Harry Potter, he would have knocked them out cold. But that’s exactly what happened. He couldn’t really believe it himself. Yet he was quite friend with Potter and Weasley and Granger as well. But those three made a perfect little circle that neither he or anyone else could ever get into. So he practically jumped at the invitation Ron made him to stay at the Burrow with Potter and Hermione the entire summer.

Of course he knew he would end up spending most of his time with Ron’s little sister, whom he liked to mention, hates him with a fiery passion. But that’s something he would have to work around. They were outside of school and had nothing to worry about. After all Voldemort was dead now. He and Harry had killed him. So what was there really to worry about?

“Have you found it yet Bella?” the man asked.

“Yes, my Lord. I have found it. It’s safe and waiting for you.” she replied.

“Very well, retrieve the Orb. The Ritual will being soon.”

Bella bowed to her master and turned and left. The man she was talking to watched her leave. He sat in a throne made of marble, tapping his fingers one the arm of the thone.

At last the Orb of Zephon will be mine, he thought, and the Demon will succeed where Voldemort failed. He will rise out of the Orb and reek havoc on the wizarding and Muggle worlds. The Demon will turn the world right again.

Harry, Ron, and Draco stepped off the Hogwarts Express and onto Platform nine and three quarters. It was a fine sight seeing three different boys lined up on the platform. Each with a different hair color. One with black hair, one with red, and the other a blonde silver color. It would never occur to you that these three boys, almost men, could possibly know each other. And yet they knew each other quite well.

            “Ron, where’s Hermione?”

            “With Ginny I suppose.”

            “Ginny? Your sister?” Draco interjected.

“Yeah, Ron’s little sister, one of my best friends, girl that completely hates you, and a teenager that ever got a chance to rip out your liver and stomp on it until in turned into instant liver soup mix, she would.” Harry pointed out.

“Thank you Potter for the lovely picture burned into the back of my mind.”

            “You’re quite welcome Draco.”

“Speaking of my darling little sister and my gorgeous girlfriend.” Ron pointed at Ginny and Hermione walking up the platform toward the three.

“Ron, don’t point love, it’s impolite.” Hermione kissed Ron on the cheek and gave Harry and Draco each a hug. Ron put his arm down and blushed.

“Yeah Ron, it’s not polite to point.” Draco mocked.

“It’s not polite to mock Malfoy.” Ginny snapped, “Ron, Mum is waiting.” She walked past Draco hitting his arm with her shoulder. He watched her astonished.

“I told you.” Harry put his hand on Draco’s shoulder. “ I would be careful if I were you. She can be pretty vicious. Trust me I’m her best friend and I would know.” Harry turned and followed Ginny as so did Ron and Hermione. Draco watched Ginny then ran to catch up with Harry.

“Vicious you say? Potter, I do believe this holiday is going to be a lot of fun for me.”

“I’m sure you will be saying the same thing when we’re picking up your guts off the floor.” Draco smirked. The girl can’t be that vicious. She’s a Weasley, he thought.

“Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Harry. It’s so good to see all of you.” Mrs. Weasley hugged and kissed all four of them. She look at Draco the hugged and kissed him as well.

“It’s good to see you as well Mister Malfoy.”

“Just Draco please.” Mrs. Weasley smiled. Ginny looked at her mother then Draco, who was looking at her, and rolled her eyes. Ron immediately noticed the tension between the two.

“Mum, can we go home now?”

“Of course Ron of course. Everyone now to the portkey.”

“Thank goodness.” Ginny whispered. Everyone followed Mrs. Weasley to the port key, which took them to the Central Floo Network. From there you could Floo to anywhere. The Ministry set it up two years ago for the returning students from Hogwarts. they were getting to many complaints about muggles seeing children coming of a wall. When everyone ported to the Central Floo Network, the used the fireplace that was assigned for the Burrow to get back home. Once home everyone settled in a and waited patiently for dinner.

~ ~ ~

Ginny and Hermione were downstairs helping Mrs. Weasley prepare dinner. Ginny had to do everything the hard way since she was still an under aged wizard. She quietly set the table for seven. She sighed after putting the last plate on the table. Hermione looked at her and smiled.

“Next year Ginny you will be able to use magic.” Ginny nodded. She couldn’t wait. Not being about to us magic at home was driving her crazy. Her father told her that by the middle of the summer she should be able to use magic. The Ministry is trying to change the under age wizard age to sixteen in order to train, in case any dark wizards try to raise into power. Mr. Weasley said it was going over pretty well.

“Ginny love, would you go upstairs and fetch the boys. It’s time for dinner.”

“Sure thing Mum.” Ginny ran upstairs to the top floor. Ginny knocked on her brother’s door and opened it.

“I’m coming in.” Ginny stuck her head into the room. She saw Harry and Ron sitting on his bed reading Quidditch Throughout The Ages. “ You’re reading that again? Where is Malfoy?”

“You like to ask a lot of questions don’t you Gin? He’s in his room, doing God knows what.” Harry said not looking up from the book.

“Right, well dinner is ready and if you don’t mind would you tell Malfoy.”

“No.” Ron said, looking up from the book at Ginny. “Mum asked you to do it Ginny.”

“I know but I was thinking that since you’re my older brother and you love me you would do it since I completely hate Malfoy.”

“No. Some things you have to do Gin. Even if you don’t like them.”

“Harry?” Ginny looked at Harry with watery eyes. That always works on him, she thought, always.

“You’re on your own with this on Ginny.” Harry said still not looking up from the book. He knew if he did, he would see Ginny with watering eyes and that would get him.

“Fine. I’ll remember this when you both want something from me.” Ginny slammed the door. She couldn’t believe this, Harry and Ron never did anything like this before why now? They both knew how much she hated Malfoy and now they’re making talk to him. Ginny sighed and walked down to the third floor. She stopped in front of the second door. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

~ ~ ~

Harry jumped when Ginny slammed the door. He looked up at Ron, who was laughing silently.

“She gave me the watery eyes didn’t she?” Ron nodded. I knew it, Harry thought, I knew she would. “ I knew she would that why I didn’t look up.”

“That must have been the first time it didn’t work for her.”

“Yeah, and it didn’t work because I didn’t look at her. Now tell me again why we are torturing your poor sister?”

“We are not torturing Ginny. We are just trying to get her to be friends with Draco. That’s all.”

“Ron, Ginny is going to be friends with who ever she wants. She doesn’t want to be friends with Draco. Even though she should.”

“Right. I’m just trying to get her realize that.” Harry shook his head. He knew he was arguing a lost cause. So he just stopped trying.

“Can we go to dinner now?” Ron nodded. The two went downstairs to dinner.

~ ~ ~

Ginny waited for Draco to open the door. She heard is foot steps cross the room and she held her breath. She watched the door knob turn and door open. Draco leaned against the frame of the door and looked at her. He smiled.

“Well, if it isn’t little Ginny Weasley.” Ginny exhaled and glared at Draco.

“I was just coming to tell you dinner is ready and if you think you can deal with being around, what’s that you call us, lower class, you’re more than welcome to come down and join us.” Draco’s smile faded and his face whitened. Ginny looked Draco up and down with disgust. She shook her head and walked downstairs. Reluctantly, Draco followed her.

“Well, I bring the Malfoy royalty.”

“Ginny dear, be nice to the guests.” Draco snickered and Ginny glared at him. She took a seat between her father and Harry. Draco sat down in front of her.

“Harry, how is Sirius doing? Well I hope.” Mrs. Weasley asked.

“He’s quite fine. He’s still trying to get all the paperwork from the acquittal squared away.”

“Oh dear is he still having problems with that?”

“Yes. unfortunately, but he said everything should be taken care by the end of summer holiday.”

“Well, that’s nice. Speaking of the summer holiday, Arthur would you mind telling them?” Mrs. Weasley looked at her husband with wild eyes. Arthur Weasley looked up from his meal. All the younger occupants of the table stared at him.

“What? Oh yes of course Molly. Well, good news for you Ginny. The Ministry changed the age for the under aged wizards to sixteen. So you can officially do magic at home now. That you really needed anyway. You‘re birthday is just two weeks away.”

“It doesn’t matter, the sooner the better. At least one good thing is going my way this summer.” Ginny glared at Draco.

“Yes yes Ginny that is great news, but that is not all I have to tell you. Your mother and I have decided to go to France for holiday this year. We decided since all the children are almost grown, we next to spend sometime with each other. Ron we have decided to put you in charge and I‘m sorry Ginny that we‘re not gpoing to be here for your birthday.” Mr. Weasley looked over to is wife and smiled. Right around the same time Ron got a huge grin on his face.

“It’s ok. I think I can live just this once.”

“Oy. Thanks Dad,” Ron almost shouted.

“Now Ron dear, just because we put you in charge doesn’t mean you get do everything. Ginny here will be watching as well.” Mrs. Weasley eyed Hermione. Ginny smiled and looked at Ron, who’s grin slightly faded. He looked at Ginny and she stuck out her tongue, which Mr. Weasley noticed.

“Now none of that. Ron you know perfectly well why we have let Ginny watch you. You are a teenager with raging hormones.”

“Well, so is Ginny. She could end up shagging Harry.” Ginny looked at her brother in utter amazement. Harry just laughed.

“Harry has a girlfriend and he’s my best friend. I won’t do such a thing.”

“Well, you could shag Draco then.” Ginny mouth fell to the floor. She couldn’t believe her brother just said that. At that point Draco, who was eating his dinner quietly and completely ignoring the conversation until now, gaped at Ron. A piece of steak fell into his lap.

“I most certainly will not. Just look at him” She pointed at Draco without looking. The argument went on about five more minutes until Mr. Weasley finally said something.

“Alright, enough. We are completely aware that your sister is a teenager as well. Which why you are going to watch her and she is going to watch you. If anything goes on one of you will contact us immediately.” At this Ron and Ginny both seemed pleased. Ron apologized to his sister for the Draco insult and Ginny forgave him. Draco finished his meal and looked at Mrs. Weasley.

“I hope you have a wonderful time on your holiday.”

“Well thank you Draco. We will certainly try.”

“Suck up.” Ginny muttered loud enough for only Draco to hear. Draco looked at her and only smiled.

            “Mum, When are you leaving?”

“Tomorrow morning Ron. Before you all wake I’m sure. So we’ll say goodbye tonight before we go to bed.”

            “Alright.”

“Oh yes one other thing. This should be exciting for the girls.” Mr. Weasley began. Ginny did think she could take anymore surprises. She looked at her father with a worried look. “ Fudge wanted me to tell you they’re holding the Magic Equinox Ball this year and he wanted me to tell you all you‘re invited to come. Of course Cornelius is going to send you proper invitations to attend. I just wanted you to be well aware and that you have our permission to go. That way you will not have to bother your mother and I for any unnecessary reasons. Of course you all know that your mother and I won’t be attending but that’s not go to stop you from going. Ron you have the key to Gringott’s. Please try use the money wisely.” Ginny sat there. The worried look turned into astonishment. Never before had her parents put so much responsibility on to their shoulders. She hoped Ron was proud.

            “Yeah Dad I’ll make sure.”

“That’s a boy and I’ll make sure Fred and George stop by once a week to see if you need anything.” Ron nodded.

~ ~ ~

The rest of dinner went by quietly. The discussion of Ron’s and Ginny’s parents going off for the summer was the main conversation. After dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley retired after saying their goodbyes to their children and everyone else went into the living room. Harry, Ron, and Hermione went into their usual little huddle by the fire place. Leaving Ginny and Draco on the sofa to rip each other’s throat out. Ginny had restrained herself from doing so by reading Secret Potions, Elixirs, and Concoctions. About an hour after reading and Draco sitting in complete silence, Ginny stood up from the sofa.

“I’m going to bed.” The only response she got was two head nods and one goodnight, as she guessed she would get. She was half across the living room when Draco stood up.

“I think I will too.” Ginny stopped and watched Harry, Ron and, Hermione give him the same response. Draco watched Ginny shake her head.

“So I guess I’m not the only one.” Ginny walked to the stairs, Draco following her. Once again she stopped and turned around to face him.

“Can you at least wait until I get to my room before you come up the stairs?”

“You’re not the only one? What do you mean?” Ginny looked up the stairs then back at Draco. She let out a long annoyed sigh.

“Look, I don’t need this right now. I’m tired. So if you don’t mind good night.” Ginny walked up the stairs to the second door on the second floor. Draco followed her all the way up.

“I do mind. I want to know what you meant.” Ginny opened her bedroom door and walked in. She turned around and looked at Draco.

“You figure it out.” She slammed the door. Ginny walked over to her bed and laid down. She put her book on the nightstand next to her bed. She sighed. Ginny looked at the crack between the door and the floor boards. She could see the shadows of his feet. He just never gives up does he, Ginny thought.

            “Go away Malfoy!” she yelled.

“No, not until you tell me what you were talking about downstairs.”

“I’m not going to tell you Malfoy. So leave me alone.” Draco stood outside the door. This girls is so stubborn. She reminds me of me, he thought. He sighed and shook his head.

Ginny sat up. He’s going to open the door, she thought, I just know it. And sure enough he did. He stood in the door frame. Ginny rolled her eyes and laid back down.

            “Tell me” He said.

            “ Get out”

            “No”

            “Get out Malfoy.”

“Why are you being so difficult Weasley? I just want the answer to my question.” Ginny sat up on her elbows and looked at Draco.

“If you can’t figure it out Malfoy than you are a lot dumber than you look.” Draco’s eyes narrowed. Ginny smiled. I hit a soft spot, she thought. Note to self always insult his intelligence.

“Don’t insult my intelligence Weasley, you’ll find more trouble than you want.” he said as if he knew what she was thinking. Ginny sat up completely and moved so that her back was against the headboard of her bed.

“You know Malfoy, you’re so stupid. Like that famous line of yours is going to stop me.” He couldn’t believe this. Everyone back down after that line, even Potter. Yet she was still standing her ground. She’s more of a challenge than he thought.

“You don’t care what trouble I cause do you?” Ginny looked up a the ceiling and sighed. She just realized that Draco’s bedroom just above her own. Great, she thought, now he can keep me awake at night. She looked at Draco. He thought that look meant she was getting restless.

“Malfoy, I don’t care if your abducted by leprechauns and they hit you over the head with their shalaylee sticks. Get out.”

“Leprechauns?” Ginny looked at her bedside table and picked up the book she put there earlier. She threw the book at Draco, hitting him in the shoulder. Draco was in total disbelief. Not at her but at himself. He knew that she was going to throw that book, but he let her throw it and worse of all, he let it hit him.

“OUCH!” Ginny stoop up and walked to where Draco was standing. She picked up her book and threw on her bed. Ginny, then pushed Draco, who was clutching his shoulder in pain, out the door.

“Serves you right!” She then slammed the door in his face.

He just stood there holding his shoulder. Wow, he thought, never before have I lost a something like this and yet I stand here. I lost my first argument to a girl. A feisty one at that. Oh this summer is going to be wonderful, he thought, just great. Draco turned from Ginny’s door and went up to his room.

~ ~ ~

Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat at the bottom of the stairs listening to the fight Ginny and Draco were having. When Harry heard a loud thump he tried to get up the stairs, but Ron and Hermione stopped him.

“Let me go he might have hurt her.” Harry said still struggling to get free.

“Harry do you honestly think that Draco hurt Ginny.” Hermione pointed out. Harry stopped struggling and looked at Ron.

“You’re right, she probably hurt him.” After Harry finished his sentence he heard a door slam. “Right that was Ginny slamming the door in Draco’s face. We can upstairs now.” Hermione giggled. She and Ron let go of Harry. Harry quietly climbed the stairs. He looked back down to find Ron and Hermione following him. “ I’m surprised your parents haven’t woke up yet.”

“They haven’t heard a thing going on. After Fred and George moved out they put up a charm to keep and outside noise from coming inside the room.” Harry nodded. “Quite good for me. I could have a party out here and they wouldn’t even know.” Hermione glared at Ron. He noticed the high strung tension in his girlfriend. “ But I wouldn’t do anything like that.” Hermione smiled.

“Sure, you wouldn’t Ron.” Harry said, stopping at the fifth floor. Hermione shot a look of daggers at him.

            “Don’t encourage him Harry.”

“Sorry Hermione, but you know it‘s true. Well goodnight.” Harry walked into his room and left Ron and Hermione there. Ron looked at Hermione. He took her hand and pulled her close to him. Hermione looked up at him and smiled. She ran her hand through his hair. He bent down slightly and kissed her. She gently pulled away and kissed him on the cheek, then let go of his hand.

“Goodnight Ron.” Hermione walked down the fourth floor and went into her bedroom. There she got ready for bed and then went to sleep. Three more stories up Ron was asleep in his room.

~ ~ ~

Ginny woke up early enough in the morning to see her parents off. After they had left started a fire and curled up on the floor with one of Witch Weekly’s romance novel. This month the author was Orbitnissa Astro and the book was called The Way to A Witch’s Heart.

Chalice stood there waiting for Seven to arrive. We she saw him coming she ran to him, throwing her arms around him. She reached up to kiss him and he turned away. Chalice backed away from him.

            “Seven, what is it love?”

            Seven looked away from her.

“What is it? It’s you. How could you betray me like that Chalice?”

Chalice looked at Seven with hurt eyes.

            “What are you talking Seven?”

Seven looked at Chalice then looked away.

            “Seven?”

“How could you sleep with him?”

Chalice looked shocked. She didn’t understand, what did he mean. Her eyes started to water.

“Who are you talking about Seven? I’ve only slept with you. You’re the only one I love.”

“Liar!! You slept with Rane didn’t you? Didn’t you? You slept with my best friend. You betrayed me.” Seven screamed. Chalice fell to her knees and began crying. “Didn’t you?”

“No!!” Chalice screamed, “I would never hurt you never. I would never sleep with Rane. I would never. I could never betray you.” She grabbed Seven’s hand. He snatched it away and pushed her away from him.

“You filthy hag...”

“Interesting read.” Draco whispered into her ear. “ Did she really sleep with his best friend?” Ginny closed her book and turned to face Draco.

“Not that you care, but no she didn’t. Rane is in love with Chalice and he paid a girl to take polyjuice potion to look like her to trick Seven into thinking Chalice betrayed him.”

“Nice trick.” Draco smirked. A cold chill went up Ginny’s spine. She hated it when he did that. It almost made her want to reach up and kiss him.

“Yeah, sounds like something you would do.” Ginny stood up from her place near the fire. She noticed Draco looking at her from head to toe, the she suddenly realized she was still wearing her green satin night gown that was just a little to short. She didn’t care, give him something to want that he can’t have. Ginny put her book on the mantle above the fireplace and walked into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. Draco watched her every move.

“How do you know that’s something I would do?” Draco moved into the kitchen and sat down at the table.

“Because I just do. You have that sinful sort of murkiness that surrounds you. Coffee?” Ginny held up a kettle full of coffee and a mug.

“Oh yes please.” Draco smiled. I’m finally getting on her good side, he thought. “It’s good to know that you’ve done your homework on me then.” Ginny turned around and poor the coffee in the mug. “Black please.” Ginny nodded. Ginny reached over the counter and grabbed at bottle of ink.

“He’s going to love this.” Ginny whispered.

“What did you say something Weasley?”

“No, I was just saying no one has do homework on you Malfoy. You let everyone your a complete git.” Ginny poured the ink into Draco’s coffee. She hoped he didn’t see her grab the ink across the counter. She set his coffee down in front of him and joined him at the table with her coffee.

“Yes, well Weasley I know I haven’t been the nicest person in the world by I wish that we can start over.” Draco drank some of his coffee. “Wonderful coffee.” Ginny giggled.

“Why thank you. I hope we can start over to Draco.“ Draco smiled at her. I got you now, he thought, I have her eating out of the palm of my hand. Five minutes went by and Ginny and Draco had finished they’re coffee when Harry, Ron, and Hermione came downstairs, Ginny shifted. They all took seats at the table. Ginny stood up hugged Ron.

“I have to go upstairs and get dressed now.”

            “Ginny, what did you do?”

“Nothing, nothing at all.” Ginny walked to the stairs. She turned to Draco a smiled. Smile back you rich bastard, she thought. Draco looked at her a smiled. Harry, Ron and Hermione looked at Draco. Harry and Hermione burst out with laughter. Ginny took off up the stairs at high speed and into her room. She locked the door behind her. Draco looked at Harry and Hermione, who were now on the floor laughing, then at Ron.

“I have ink on my teeth don’t I.”

            “GINNY!” Ron yelled.

“Don’t bother. You’re sister is a good actress and a very vicious girl.”

“I *gasp* told *gasp* you” Harry said , trying to stop laughing.

“Yeah, I know you told me Potter. Hermione can you help me get this stuff off my teeth.” Hermione slowly stopped laughing. She picked herself off the floor and smoothed out her clothes. Hermione took out her wand and pointed it at Draco. She gave one little last laugh.

“Refigofixum.” The ink from Draco’s teeth vanished.

“Thank you Hermione.” Ron got from the table. “Where are you going Weasley?”

            “To talk to Ginny.”

            “I’ll go.”

“Draco I don’t know if that’s such a great idea.” Harry said with a worried look.

“She’s probably expecting me or Ron to come up there to talk to.”

“My point exactly Potter. She hit me with a book last night. What else could she possibly do? She only girl.” Draco walked up the steps. Three people remaining looked at each other.

“He has no idea what he’s getting into does he Harry?”

“Oh he knows. He just doesn’t care. He’s trying to see how far he can push her before she falls off the edge.”

“Which in his case isn’t very far.” Hermione added. Harry and Ron shook their heads. A minute later they heard Ginny scream “Get out you, disgusting bastard.” Everyone sitting at the table shook their heads, feeling really sorry for Draco.

“Shouldn’t we try to stop this?” Hermione asked.

“Nope, I don’t want Ginny mad at me.” Harry said.

“The more they fight. The more they’ll try to get along. That’s my philosophy.” Hermione and Harry looked at Ron and laughed.

            “What?”

~ ~ ~

“I SAID GET OUT!”   Ginny screamed. Draco just looked at her wrapped her bed spread. He walked in her room and slammed the door.

“You know Weasley it isn’t very nice to put ink in someone’s coffee and let them drink it.”

“You Malfoy know it isn’t very nice to walk into someone’s room without knocking. You never know what people are doing in their rooms. Like trying to get dressed.”

            “I did knock.”

“If you call using the Alohomora charm as knocking, you have completely fallen off your rocker.” Ginny yelled. She straightened the bed spread she was wrapped in and made sure he couldn’t see anything. Draco just happened to walk in while she was changing . Which Ginny was thought wasn’t very polite.

“I want you to apologize to me,” Draco crossed his arms. “Then I’ll get out. You either apologize or get dressed with me standing here.” Draco smiled. Ginny narrowed her eyes and glared at Draco. He’s expecting me to apologized. Well, I’d rather jump off a building, she thought.

“Fine then.” Draco uncrossed his arms. I got the girl to apologized to me, he thought. Draco watched and waited for her to apologize, but she did the last thing he expected. She dropped the bed spread she was holding. She was wearing nothing but knickers. Draco’s jaw dropped to the floor. I can’t believe she just did that, Draco thought. He watched her pick up and put her bra on. She looked at him while putting on jeans she apparently picked out before came up.

“Malfoy, you looking at me like you’ve never seen a girl before.” Draco then realized he was goggling at her. He had seen plenty of girls before. He just didn’t understand why this shocked him. Maybe he wasn’t expecting really to really to this. Ginny put on a light pink shirt and placed her hands on her hips. She looked at him as she was waiting for him to say something. Draco got the hint.

“Why did you do that?” Ginny let her hands dropped and looked at him surprised.

“Did you actually think I was going to apologize to you? You stupid git. You should know better than that.” Ginny walked across the room to her door and opened it. Before she walked out, turned and looked at Draco. “I would careful now if I were you. If my brother ever found out what you just saw, he’d kill you.” Ginny blew him a kiss and walked out closing the door behind her. Draco stood there, trying to figure out what just happened. A smile swept his face. He opened the door and made sure was Ginny downstairs before he came down. When he did he saw Ginny sitting down at the table next to her brother. He smiled again and looked at Ron.

“Ron,” Draco said. Ginny looked at Draco. Oh no, she thought, what’s he going to do. “ I just wanted to let you know that Ginny and I had a very interesting conversation upstairs and she showed me something of her I never seen before.” Ginny stood up from the table.

“Don’t you even Malfoy.” she said calmly but coldly. Draco looked at her.

“Ah. I see now. If I tell Ron, you’ll be in just as much trouble I would. Wouldn‘t you?” Ginny glared Draco. Ron looked at Draco the Ginny and stood up.

“Tell me what?” Draco looked at Ron.

“Go on Malfoy tell him. Me getting in trouble would be worth me seeing him beating the bloody hell out of you.” Ron looked annoyed.

“Tell me what?” Draco looked at Ginny, who was smiling at him. She’s not afraid, he thought, it’s completely pointless if is not scared. Ginny held her breath. please don’t let him say anything, she though, let him back down. Draco looked at Ron.

“That Ginny here let me look inside her closet. It’s very nice a clean.” Ginny exhaled, Ginny and Draco looked at each other. The other three looked at them confused.

“Why would I be mad about that?” Ron asked.

“Because I thought you might get mad that I had him in my room.” Ginny replied, not taking her eyes off Draco.

“Normally yeah, if it was another guy, but He’s Draco and you hate him and why would let him look your closet Ginny?” At that point Ginny and Draco both looked at Ron and they both shrugged. Ron looked at Harry and Hermione.

“My sister if very weird.” Harry and Hermione nodded in agreement. Ginny rolled her eyes and walked into the living room. She got her book off the mantle and said down on the sofa. She opened her book and tried to read. Ginny realized she couldn’t when she noticed Draco standing in front of her. She looked up.

“What do you want Malfoy?” Draco looked at her with is icy cold gray eyes. He put out his hand to her.

“I want to talk to you.” He looked over at Ron, Hermione, and Harry watching them. Ginny looked over too. “Out in the garden.” Ginny looked at his hand. Unsurely she took it and he took her out to the garden.
