The History of Witchcraft

This is some stuff they forget to tell on Sunday mornings about the beginnings of the churches - everyone has a little pagan in them screaming to get out. And it's not the work of the devil it's your heart tell you where you need to be in this world. I have many books on the subject of witchcraft. The best book I found with history is what we call in our world Big Blue. The real name of the book is Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft. It is a place to find the out the history Old Religion.

Source: Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft:
"Christianity is a man made religion. It has not evolved gradually and naturally over thousands of years, as we have seen that the Old Religion did.

Whole countries were classed as Christian when in actuality it was only it's ruler who adopted the new religion, and often only superficially at that.

Throughout Europe generally the Old Religion in it's many and varied forms, was still prominent for the first thousand years of Christianity. An attempt at mass conversion was made by the Pope Gregory, The Great. He thought that one way to get the people to attend the new Christian churches was to have them build on the sites of the older temples. Use the places where the people were accustomed to gathering together to worship and they will come to your new religion. He instructed his bishops to smash every pagan idol, sprinkle holy water and to rededicate the church to the Christian faith."

What would happen if someone did that to your churches, today?
