This is the Smart Spell cast by Phoebe. She was tired of being the "stupid" one, so she cast the Smart Spell. By extending her hands over a book, she was able to learn everything in it, which came in useful when Prue and Piper got sucked into a painting and the spell to get them out was written in Latin.

This is the spell that trapped the warlock and (unfortunately) Prue and Piper in the painting.



Absolvo Amitto, Amplus Brevis, Sempler Mea
Which in English means: "To free what is lost say these words 'Mine Forever'"

This was the spell said to free anyone trapped in the painting.



Verva Omnes, Liberant
Which in English means: "Words free us all"

This is a Hear Thoughts spell. This spell was cast by Prue and Piper. They were concerned that the men that they were dating (Jack and Dan) were warlocks. They cast the spell to hear their thoughts, but they end up able to hear everyone's thoughts, which came in handy when they had to save Phoebe and an innocent from two demons.

This is the Awakening Spell.Prue and Phoebe cast this spell when Piper went into a coma from a blood disease called Aurora Fever. They could not let Piper die, so they cast this spell.

Remove the cause of this disease
Take sleep eternal nevermore
And shift the source of unearthly spawn,
To this poppet whom none shall mourn

After they cast the Awakening Spell, there was an outbreak of Aurora Fever. The sisters knew it was a consequence from the spell they had cast; therefore, they had to cast the Reversal Spell, even though they knew that Piper could die.



What was awakened from its sleep
Must once again slumber deep

This was one of the first spells Phoebe ever made up by herself. She came up with this spell to vanquish a demon that caused violence through movies. He found out that he could send villians from the screen into the real world.

This is a spell to Relive a Past Life. Phoebe casts this spell to go back in time because a curse has been placed on her and all her future descendants. She finds out that she was evil in another life and that it was Prue and Piper's descendants that were responsible for her death.

Let these mortal arms embrace,
The life that haunts before
