Two is a terrestrial station owned by the BBC.
The program content includes a
huge range of high quality programs. There are a wide range of genre’s covered
on BBC Two including comedy, general entertainment, kids, affairs, sport,
culture, documentaries, lifestyle, music programs, education, movies and much
more. This is the UK’s second BBC TV channel showing programs that are slightly
less mainstream and generally more specific to individual tastes of the British
viewer than BBC One. The region you receive is dependant on your local
transmitter or, in the case of Sky, the postcode of your location. There are
four BBC Two regions, one in each UK country; England, Wales, Scotland and
Northern Ireland. The only differences are occasional culture, sports and
affairs programs.
