BBC
One is a terrestrial station owned by the BBC.
The program content includes a
huge range of high quality programs. There are a wide range of genre’s covered
on BBC One including drama, general entertainment, kids, news, sport, special
events (such as ‘Eurovision’ or ‘Children In Need’), documentaries, chart music
programs, movies and much more. This is the UK’s most watched TV channel
showing the mainstream programs for the British viewer. As well as national
news, regional news and affairs are also included. The region you receive is
dependant on your local transmitter or, in the case of Sky, the postcode of
your location. In England, there are several regional variations. In Wales,
Scotland and Northern Ireland there’s only one region for each, but there are more
program changes than the English regions, like sports coverage.
