Sky Frequency Info
The services on digital satellite are carried on multiplexes. Each multiplex is carried on a particular transponder, which is indicated in the 'Trans' column of the service lists. The table below indicates which transponder number (Trans) refers to which broadcast frequency (Freq) in GHz (Giga-Hertz) and the polarity setting (Pol) either being horizontal (H) or vertical (V). This is particularly useful for tuning channels in manually or viewing services that are not included in the EPG. Other settings may also require altering when carrying out a manual tune, in which case refer to the external links at the bottom of the page.
