Signal strength
colour indicator: ● Very likely to receive with an indoor aerial, multiplexes covering the selected region are highlighted in green. ● Fairly likely to receive ● Unlikely to receive with an indoor aerial in most areas of the selected city. An outdoor aerial may or may not improve reception. Please be aware that this signal indicator may
not be 100% accurate and should be used as a rough guide only. The limit
of up to 7 multiplexes in each area means that the same channel blocks may be used for
multiplexes in adjacent
areas reducing the chance of good reception. The signal strength is dependant on your exact
location, the quality of aerial being used and the direction the aerial is
pointing.

| Bitrate/Datarate |
Bitrate: The audio quality that the service
is broadcast and whether it is in mono or stereo. The higher the level, the
better the sound quality. 192kBit/s (stereo) or 96kBit/s (mono) is about CD
quality. Datarate: Has the same technical definition as Bitrate but for data services indicates approximately how fast the download speed is. It depends on the content of the data service as well however. |
