She is also known, on occasion, to play beautiful songs on the chimes. ;-) Sozume is on a quest to find her father, a human, who mysteriously disappeared when she was young. Battle Skill Specialty: Very skilled a wielding a sword. Her song is sometimes able to entrance certain demons.

Battle Skill Flaw: If she gets too angry her demonic blood takes over and she sings notes so high that it can be harmful to anyone around her. However, she has practiced being calm and serene all her life and only has a few problems with this. She also tends to be distracted occasionally in battle and pay attention to something other than the fight. This gets her into tricky situations sometimes. She is very susceptible to the cold.

History: When Sozume was 6 years old her father disappeared without a trace. No one knows what happened to him or even if he is still alive. She lived with her mother, Naomi- Demon of Song, who taught her all that she knows about music and wielding a sword for her own protection. Together they searched Feudal Japan for her father. At the age of 19 her mother died trying to protect her from an evil tree demon that had attacked them while walking through the forest. Before her death she gave Sozume a vial from around her neck, telling her it was for healing and to use it wisely and with a good heart. After that Sozume set out in search of her father on her own who she believes is still alive somewhere in Feudal Japan! She decided she would need a better, stronger sword, and so she went out in search of the Birds of Paradise. She enchanted one with a song and stole one of its powerful feathers and had it forged into a sword. Now she searches relentlessly for the father she lost and for the answers she seeks.
