Another Santorum Sighting
Rick Santorum sure is making the rounds these days. Today, he was on 610 WIP (which is an AM sports radio station for those of you not from the Philadelphia area) talking about the Super Bowl. He didn't do anything too annoying, but the point is that he keeps popping up everywhere. While I'm sure that part of it is simply getting out there for his own upcoming election in 2006, I fear that there are greater motivations at work as well. His name has been mentioned already with others who plan to run for president in 2008, and I think that he is trying to get as much exposure as possible to get his name out there. Don't think that we can't do any worse than Bushie. I know it sounds unbelievable, but it is possible, and if we end up with a President Santorum, we may all just find out.
This is why the defeat of Rick Santorum is so important. Not only is it for the good of the state of Pennsylvania, but for the whole world. If he loses in his re-election bid, then he's done. At least for a while. But if he wins...
So remember to keep telling all of your friends. And tell your enemies as well. Santorum is not a good senator, and we must defeat him in 2 years. Actually, less than that. Closer to a year and a half. Shit, time flies. Anyway, let's make it happen! Thanks, and have a great day!!

Rick Santorum Still Hates Gay People
Our buddy Santorum was on "Inside Politics" today on CNN, and he was back to talking about "protecting traditional marriage" by trying to ban gay people from getting married. Someone please explain to me how banning gay people equal rights affects straight people in one single way, besides making them feel icky. Now I know that seeing two grown men kiss is gross and all (I'm being sarcastic for those of you who are wondering), but Republicans need to get past this. After all, everyone loves it when two hot women embrace in a passionate lip lock. Why can't men do the same thing?
I am going to work on getting a new law passed, stating that all members of Congress need to kiss each other before starting their sessions. People need to experience new things, especially the stiff old people in the House and Senate.

BUSH IS ON HIS WAY OUT!
Okay, it's not as good as it sounds. But technically, it's the truth. As of today, it is the beginning of the end of Bush. Only about 1,200 days left. And after this term, he can run no more. Hey, we have to look on the bright side.
The good news is that the Democrats aren't being a bunch of pantywaists. They finally seem to be standing up for themselves. Too bad it took two lost elections to be able to realize this. But nevermind that, let's focus on the future. And let's not sit around waiting for the next presidential election. There are a lot of House and Senate seats up for grabs in two years. Newt "Asshole" Gingrich and the Republishits did it back in 1994, and we will do it back to them in 2 years. 10 seats in the Senate is nothing. And twenty-whatever in the House is not that much either. It can be done. And we are going to do it! So don't take any shit from anyone, get your asses out there and let's make it happen!

I'm Back!
Hello again. I don't have much to say, but I just wanted you all to know that we are not done here. I have been quite busy (I know that it's no excuse), and that is why I haven't posted lately, but we are not done yet. Unfortunately, the holidays have kind of slowed things up, but we will start the new year with a bang! Santorum and his Republican friends won't know what hit them.
Anyway, I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday (or if you don't celebrate anything, simply a wonderful day). Even that loser with the blog that has no title, just a period. Like anyone cares what that guy thinks (although I'm sure most people would say the same thing about me). See you all soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Just want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving, and remind you all to make the conversations during dinner about politics and Rick Santorum. Don't listen to all of those other losers that say that you shouldn't talk about that stuff. It's the best time to inform people of Rick Santorum's evil ways. That said, be nice about it. After all, it is Thanksgiving, and everyone should try to get along. Unless they're completely hopeless, then you can yell at them.

Religious Retards Must Go!
I don't know what everyone else thinks, but what the hell is with all of these religious monkeys trying to take over the country? Now that Mr. Moron got "re-elected," they all seem to think they can do whatever they want. And our country is becoming so stupid, I guess they sort of can.
They like to yell about how this country was founded on Christianity. That is wrong. Just because most of the founding fathers were religious men, that doesn't mean that the country was founded on religion. There's a big fucking difference. That's the thing. There isn't exactly a problem with Fuck-Head Bush being religious. The problem lies with how he uses that religion to ruin the country. Remember, the goddamn terrorists believe in God, too. I guess we should all idolize them as well.
Now I'm sure that you are all saying that this has nothing to do with Rick Santorum. And you're basically right. However, since he's a religious retard, too, this kind of is about him. And his religion makes him act like a shithead. Either that, or he just is one naturally. In any case, he's a dick.

We Will Beat Santorum
Very sorry that I haven't written in a few days. I know that my legion of followers must be salivating while they are awaiting the most recent messages about Rick Santorum, as well as those deep thoughts on life in general. Well, your prayers have been answered! Here I am!
First, I did some looking into of poll numbers concerning our favorite senator. I don't think it's the best time to find that kind of stuff, at least not recent ones. After all, there are still two years left until his demise, and we don't know who he'll be running against or anything. What I did find, is evidence that Santorum definitely is beatable. In 2000, he only beat Ron Klink by 7%. This is not much, considering that Santorum was the incumbent, and from what I remember, they showed absolutely zero ads for Mr. Klink. This was also one of the slimmest victories of all of the incumbents who went on to win that year. If the Democrats elect a good candidate, we have a great chance to beat Santorum in 2006.
Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately, depending on how you look at it), we may have a different problem coming up. It seems that the right-wing religious crazies are all up in arms because Santorum has supported Arlen Specter in the past. So now they think that even Santorum is too far to the left, and they want to get a more conservative candidate to run against him in the primaries. Let's just say that we may have to change the name of our blog to "Toomey Must Go." Anyway, we'll worry about that later. On a different note, there is still stuff going on with the presidential election. It seems that there were numerous fuck-ups with the voting, most notably in Ohio and Florida, and they are slowly but surely being uncovered. The Ohio recount seems to be going through, so maybe if the media gets their heads out of their asses, they will cover this story instead of focusing on Terrell Owens and Nicolette Sheridan on Monday Night Football.

Ohio Recount
Well, it looks like the recount in Ohio is going to happen. Apparently, enough money has been raised, so the recount should go through. Hey, you never know what could happen. I wouldn't count on anything good, but who knows.
Not much news on Rick Santorum. I'm going to try to find some recent polls about him, like his favorability and such. Anything I find will be posted on the "Stop Santorum" website:
