Karma

Principles –

  1. Evolution

  2. Free will

  3. Karma

Three expressions of Karma – What you do will come back to you. Three-fold Law.

  1. Boomerang

  2. Organism

  3. Symbolic karmic

Everything we do in this life is from our past lives and will reflect on our next lives.

The soul learns and grows from each reincarnation.

The saying – when a person dies another is born.

Three relationships –

  1. Karmic connection – Do you instantly feel that you know someone? You may have had some sort of an experience with them in another life.

  2. Soul-Mate connection – Two souls compatible on most all levels. Most often friends before anything else. Soul Mates do not have to be lovers; they can be family members or friends. Soul Mates last through all circumstances.

  3. Twin Soul connection – Soul splits in two, each evolving separately. Our ideal other half some call it but actually lives within ourselves as the opposite gender.

Exercises (adapted from Ted Andrews book; How to Uncover Your Past Lives)

“Wheel of Life” (If you have a tarot deck you may want to get this card out for this exercise)

  1. Make sure you will not be disturbed.

  2. Remove and study the Wheel of Fortune card from the tarot deck.

  3. Close your eyes and picture the card.

  4. Perform a progressive relaxation. Start at feet and move upwards focusing on each body part and mentally sending warmth and relaxing feelings to those parts one by one. Use rhythmic breathing. Inhale through the nose and hold for a count of four then exhale through the mouth. Do this for several minutes. Use incense, candles, music, etc.

  5. Do not be discouraged if it takes time to do this.

  6. At the end of exercise keep a journal about what you experienced.

Now, imagine you hear a clock chiming softly in the background 12 times and then fades away. As it is fading you see a large ancient wooden door with the Wheel of Fortune tarot card carved into it. Your are standing in front of the door and it softly opens outward and rich deep blue and purple lights surround you from inside. You are being drawn through the door by the spiraling lights. Once again you hear the clock softly chiming. As you step over the threshold the door closes behind you.

The room is filled with spiraling blue and purple lights and you are standing in them. You see a sun shining upon a tree through the lights. As you look at the tree you can see the passing of the seasons. As the sun moves across the sky you see the leaves begin to bud. They turn very green then autumn colors take over the leaves then they fall to the ground. The limbs are now bare and covered with snow. When the snow melts the tree starts over again.

The sun and tree fade away in the spiral of blues and purples to be replaced by the moon rising. It moves through its phases from new to full and back to new. Once again this continues over and over until it too fades into the spiral of blues and purples.

Now the clock chiming becomes more distant and the scenery once again changes. The earth and sky are now filled with the blue and purple spiraling lights. This is the place on earth where everything is in limbo or a void. You see both the sun and moon above you in the sky. As you look around you see the earth is covered with clocks of every shape and size. They hang on trees; sit on rocks, even encased in the rocks.

You decide to move closer to the clocks.

Some of the clocks have the hands turning clockwise at great speed and as you approach one you see yourself aging. You step away from that clock and feel your face and hair to reassure yourself that you aren’t any older than when you started this journey.

Some of the other clocks the hands are spinning counterclockwise. You approach one and feel your energy growing stronger. You feel younger, your face and hands feels and look softer You step back and examine yourself to see that once again you are the age that you began this journey.

Some clocks don’t move at all and some spin around and around and never stop. As you look at these you can see your past flashing before your eyes. You see in some the relationships you had, others show joyful moments and still other clocks show the bad times. Some clocks show past lives and yet they seem familiar to you.

All these clocks show your life whether it is your past incarnations or the life right now but they all must fit together and work in harmony. You must learn to move the hands of time in synchronicity to be able to change your fortune or luck.

As you begin to touch each clock with your fingertips you move the hands of several of them to run in unison. You may slow some down or speed some up. Each time you do this a fresh of breath air blows over, softly caressing you and acknowledging a new harmony.

You look around. There are so many clocks and so many rhythms. You have so much to do. Then you realize that if you harmonize your rhythms with that of the universe you can have all the time in the world.

With this you become aware of a deep chiming off in the distance. You look to the sky and see the sun and moon blending together. You become excited and thrilled. You remember that all things in time are possible.

The clock images begin to fade away and the spirals of blue and purple light are stronger. You turn to see the door that you entered in open. You step through the door and realize that time is always open to you. The door softly closes behind you and you see the image of the tarot card once again.

The door fades away before your eyes. Breathe deeply, relax and remember all that happened. Write down your experience in your journal.

“Opening the Gallery”

  1. Make sure you will not be disturbed.

  2. Use incense, candles, music, etc.

  3. Use rhythmic breathing. Inhale through the nose and hold for a count of four then exhale through the mouth. Do this for several minutes.

  4. Re-read exercise and try to remember the main ideas.

  5. Perform progressive relaxation. Start at feet and move upwards focusing on each body part and mentally sending warmth and relaxing feelings to those parts one by one.

  6. Keep eyes closed.

  7. Keep track for several nights your dreams after this meditation exercise.

  8. You may wish to use the “Wheel of Life” exercise (above) before going on with the others. But do it the day before you do the other exercises.

You see yourself at the top of a long, golden staircase that spirals down into a mist. You are not afraid to walk down it. As you begin to walk each step you feel more relaxed. Down and down you walk. Gently. You feel a sense of good and anticipation as you step down. You find yourself stepping deeper and deeper down. You feel more relaxed with each step. You have forgotten how good it feels.

The further you walk the lighter you feel. It feels as though you are barely even touching the steps. Soon the mist is all around you but you don’t seem to care. It’s soothing and very beautiful and you have never felt so light or relaxed in a long time. You are literally floating down the staircase.

Below you see the bottom of the staircase as the mist slowly fades away. Your feet finally touch the floor and you are relaxed.

You find yourself in the middle of a round room. Across from you you see a large oak door. You feel drawn to it. As you step closer you can see your name has been carved into the heart of the door. Below your name you see an engraving in a foreign language you do not recognize. You reach out gently to touch the letters with your fingers. You realize that this was your name the last time that you were here.

You draw your hand back, the door opens inward and blue and gold light come forth and encircles you. It passes right through you and surrounds and hugs you. It welcomes you to step through the threshold. You close your eyes and can feel the light.

All around you are artifacts from all over the world. Paintings, sculptures, clothing, books, weapons, etc. There seems to be every time period here. Some you recognize but others you don’t. You see some with dust and cobwebs on them but they are all in good condition.

The room is divided into sections. Each area is a specific time and place in history. Not of the world though but of your life. You see your favorite outfit from childhood and your favorite book or toy. Everything in this room are traces of your past. They have helped make the person that you are right now.

Suddenly the gallery grows dark except for a small area on your left. There stands a divider that is illuminated. You walk towards it wondering what you will find out about yourself.

As you step around it you see hanging a life size portrait in a large gilded frame. The image of the portrait is unrecognizable but you know when it shows itself that it will be of you. In your mind you suddenly hear a soft clear voice saying:

“This is the Gallery of Your Life. Within it is the remains of everything and everyone from your past. Here is all you will ever need to discover the past as it plays in the present. You choose what you want to see and not see.”

You stare at the portrait. A soft breeze blows across you and the portrait and it shimmers. As this happens you see the image grow strong and clear. You can see it, feel it. You know it is real.

Now study the image for a few moments. Notice the clothes, the colors, and the gender. You seem to know about this person. You know whether they are sad or happy, rich or poor, what they do for a living. As you look at the face you see things you had forgotten. Now look towards the bottom right hand corner. On the frame is a brass plate engraved with a date. You reach your hand out to lightly touch it. Look to the left corner now and see a second plate engraved with the name of a place. Again, reach out and touch this plate.

You look up towards the image and notice two other images appearing in the background. One is male the other female. You know what they were to you in another life. You remember that time, the emotions. Reflect on those for a while.

Their faces blur as you remember and fade away but wait! They’re reappearing again but something is different. Now those two faces are two people who are in your life right now. You begin to understand them better. See them, feel them.

Again the faces fade way. All that is left is your image. As you look at the face the eyes seem to come alive and embrace you. Above the images head appears a phrase or word. This is what the past life has given you to use in your present life. See it forming.

As you look at it you begin to understand yourself better. Suddenly the image is gone and all you’re looking at is an empty canvas in a frame.

There’s still so much you don’t understand and a lot to learn. You take a step back and can see that the entire gallery is again lit up. It seems to go on forever. You have so much to remember. So much to learn.

You turn towards the door and hear that voice again. You pause. “This is your gallery. The door is always open to you. You may come back and explore what you have seen today further or explore any other lifetime you choose. As you remember the lessons of the past you can reshape the future.”

The door opens slowly and the blue and gold light surrounds you as you step back through the threshold. The door closes behind you. You turn and touch the engraving in the door then walk towards the staircase. You are filled with a new awe. You are at peace and relaxed. As you easily ascend the steps you take with you the knowledge that you gained. You can never look at yourself, or the two who appeared in the portrait the same way again.

You are filled with a sense of promise.
