Dead Tomorrows My heart is torn by sorrow and the tears of a dead tomorrow glisten down my face. The tiny ray of light on the horizon glistens momentarily and fades to nothing. My world turns black. No hope. Despair curls round me like a shroud. In the empty arms of time I turn, drifting slowly. To face the new day. The new dawn. I hope for the light. The light that never comes. The hope that is never there. I curl and die inside myself. The black shadows of despair.
