Here is what I have documented so far of the Winters family, after the Farmer got his Wife and whatnot. I'm afraid I didn't take pictures very often or very amusingly, but hey.
Awww. A charming snowy night, as we begin life with our little family.
...yep.
Recall what Terrence's Lifetime Want was...?
She certainly doesn't let it slow her down any, though!
Meanwhile, Terrence decides to try and fix the trash compactor by himself (I misjudged how many Mechanical skill points you have to have to do it safely) and--IT'S ALIVE!!!
However, SOMEhow, he was fine.
And immediatedly decided to celebrate his new pass at life by...gettin' jiggy widdit. (After I spent a good panicked moment planning out Blueberry's new life as a single mother and widow...)
Bwooomp!
And so then she of COURSE decides she has to compost the newspaper. Right now. In her underwear. In the SNOW! I would say that the pregnancy hormones have driven her mad,
except, this is Blueberry we're talkin' about here. She was ALWAYS like this.
Awww. I always like when they do this.
Generation Two is on the way! And she gives birth in...the kitchen. Well I suppose it's an improvement over the bedroom...
And it's...a boy! Meet baby Zachary (I've always liked that name). Has all of his father's colouring--skin, hair and eyes.
One of the now-extra downstairs bathrooms has been converted into...a nursery! (Which sounds odd until you remember they were friggin' HUGE bathrooms.)
Awww. Hopeless romantics, these two.
And then he sighs over...a bouquet of roses he brought to his own wife. Yeah, you're smitten, we get it. :P
And apparently not much happened in between here because it's Zachary's birthday, YAAAY!
Here he is as a toddler. Awww.
Yep. Again.
Aww, they just made best friends.
Life-skill learning. Lookit the expression on his face in the second picture--this young, and he's ALREADY copping a 'tude.
The computer conks out in the middle of Blueberry's thrilling science-fiction novel, so she does what any technical expert would do to fix it--BANG away randomly at the back of it with a giant screwdriver! Of course.
But, somehow, that seems to have worked, so "Revenge of the Cybernauts" is back on track!
Well, for a moment, anyway. Before she's forced to stand up so she can BWOOOMP!
By the way, I notice her randomly-assigned Maxis maternity pyjamas...are dark
blue! Woot! Way to go, game! :)
Terrence decides to go out there and put food on his family. I approve.
And somehow she uses the EXACT SAME SCREWDRIVER to fix the TV! I dunno...I still think it could stand to be a little more sonic. ;)
More life-skill learning. THANK GOODNESS.
Reading to the kidlet. Zachary was OBSESSED with being read to, as a toddler. Every time he had even a
second to himself, he'd be crawling after one or the other of them, going "Be read to. Be read to. Be read to. Ask to be read to". I mean I'm always glad to encourage budding bookworms but ENOUGH ALREADY!
Haha! He's one of MY Sim-toddlers, so, he HAS to rock out to the stereo--er, phonograph! It's required.
It's finally time for Zachary to become a child! So let's celebrate by...
...checking up on the Runners-Up in their own house. First, here's Vanilla, sporting her new look. I finally found a hairdo in white that I thought was cute and suited her personality...but ALSO actually showed her ears. LOOKIE! She's an elf! You can
finally see it!
Kelly Williams, (as a teen) from my oldest Legacy family, and whose story I AM going to start posting one of these days as well, really, stops by for dinner. And brags about how she was an Overachiever. Heh.
GAH! SHE'S A FAY, I KNEW IT!!
Oh wait, now she's back to normal. What...the...
D'artangan Irvine, from my Random House O' Interesting People, is VERY VERY EXCITED! about something. Heh.
MINT: This chili makes me sad...
Why? It's not burned or anything.
MINT: So, anybody else here seen the new Harry Potter movie?!
EVERYBODY ELSE: Wow, Espresso is in the room! NEAT!
(Well, except for Strawberry, who, in true Romance Sim fashion, is thinking about the
guy. Heh.)
Nice closeup of Strawberry playing the keyboard while Kelly has an...I don't know WHAT that is reaction to it.
"Uhg..." Vanilla fakes a headache, trying to distract Cally Irvine. Although I don't know WHY, I mean, she's got way more Logic points...
And back to the Farmer (in the dell?) Hi-ho, the derry-o, it's Zachary's new look. This was the point I realised the game was even giving him Terrence's
hairdo and stepped in to say: NO.
Well, it's nice to see somebody
FINALLY NOTICING THE FRIGGING SWIMMING POOL! What was wrong with it during the contest, ya dorks...?
Those are some gorgeous oranges.

I'm...not sure I want to know why he's doing this expression while harvesting them, though. And for pete's sake, Terrence, I applaud your helping out around the house but PUT SOME CLOTHES ON! :P
AWWWW...! Flop.
Here we go again!
And it's...a girl! Meet little Kasumi. I decided that, since Blueberry is an otaku after all, I would name the girl children after anime characters. Kasumi here is named after the oldest Tendo sister from "Ranma 1/2".
And because she's not a first child, this one gets her older brother freaking out over her, as well! Aww. Also, look at that--she's staring STRAIGHT at her dad. Huh.
Then, Zachary decides to be adorable and catch firefiles. Or at least, it WOULD be adorable if I hadn't had to crop so much of the picture...
Awww. Terrence can be a good daddy.
...he can't master CLOTHES, but he can be a good daddy.
HAHA. Oh dear. I call this: "How To Drive A Maid Crazy".
Notice how the bathtub is spurting water? Yeah, it's broken. Which MEANS, that it keeps making new puddles. So, she's like,
(mop)
--puddle--
(notice)
(mop)
--puddle--
(notice)
(mop)
--puddle--
...and I honestly wondered if she was going to get STUCK there in a loop, with us unable to even get a repairman in there 'cos she'd always be in the way!
FORTUNATELY, after about ten puddles she figured it out/gave up.
Zachary in his formal wear. I usually have this little tradition of having the family dress up nice for the Headmaster's visit. When I can (and they) be arsed.
He likes the room...well he had BETTER, this is one of the fanciest houses I've ever made...! (I usually don't decorate much. Or like, at all.)
Haha, awesome. The world needs more people who can spell. Even if they're only Sims!
THEY SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY! (guitar riff) SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
And here she is, playing with her "charisma bunny", as a toddler.
Awww...
Notice she's got the same hairdo as Blueberry, only without the blue. (So far.)
Whoo A+! Oh yes and notice the private-school uniform? UH-huh!
Life-learning...
And, guess what ELSE is moving quickly, in this household.
It's Kasumi's birthday again! Well, I did SAY I wasn't documenting this story very well...
Meanwhile, it's also time for something else...(In the bedroom. Yep.)
Awww! And little baby Nabiki (after the middle Tendo sister from "Ranma 1/2") gets an even BIGGER audience to freak out over her entry into the world! (Including the maid.) That's one thing about being in a large family--there's nearly always
someone there to attend your birthday parties, cheer on your good grades...and give you random noogies for no apparent reason.
...but...
I want a BLUE baby! (pouts)
It's a double birthday! Nabiki's turning into a toddler...
...and Zachary's turning into a teen. Oh dear. Watch out, world.
Unfortunately I was an idiot and didn't get a decent picture of him so instead enjoy this...
...updated Family Screen. Kasumi, who was indeed growing into EXACTLY Blueberry's custom hairdo, has been given another one (but still blue) to show that, like, she has the blue hair
genes, but her own style, and Zachary is holding his littlest sister. Aww.
For anybody out there who might've been worried that all this motherhood had dampened our little Knowledge Sim's spirit, fear not. Blueberry? Still a dork.
(AlTHOUGH, after the Great Veronaville Fire of Aught-Nine, Terrence ended up with a different Lifetime Want. He DOESN'T insist on marrying off six kids anymore! So Blueberry no longer has to pop them out one after the other. Now, with ACR on and him being Family, it's quite likely she'll have at least one more by
chance...but I ain't gonna force it.)
A nice family dinner with Strawberry, Peach and Chocolate. It's nice to see they're still friends.
And Kasumi, as befits the child of a nerd, immediately hits the chess board against Strawberry. Heh.
Just a nice shot of Blueberry gardening, in the now-much-smaller greenhouse. At night.
And, this is as far as I've gotten with them, so far. I had THREE neighborhoods go down suddenly due to corrupt memory files--Veronaville entirely; Strangetown and Riverblossom Hills rescued while they were still at the Showing Signs stage--and am
still in the process of rebuilding. Also, I keep getting distracted by other challenges and stuff.
So, I'll be back to this family eventually, but it'll be a while.
