Awayuki Himeno is a high school student that lives in a huge mansion after her father, Kaoru Awayuki, marries Natsue Awayuki, a rich women with 2 daughters. Soon the Leafe Knights found Himeno, who will become Pretear when she merges with one of the Knights. Himeno wants to protect the world since she has the ability to do so and her whole life changes drastically.

Each Knights have a different power and when Himeno merges with one of them, she will be able to use their powers. Himeno learns how to control her powers and practises them so that the Knights won't be hurt during the fights against evil. However things aren't looking too good when Himeno knows that the evil they are battling against is Takako, the Pretear before her...

The anime is nice but for the merging part, its a bit hentai. Also, 13 episodes are pretty short that the anime ends so quickly. It would be nice if there's more episodes to make the plot even better. The ending is pretty interesting but you might not like the ending. :P Anyway, humours can be found sometimes and it can really make you laugh. If you like fantasy types anime, you could consider watching this anime.
