Celebi is being chased by Pokémon Hunter and his 2 pokémon, Houndoom and Scyther. Sammy, a young pokémon trainer happens to see Celebi being chased and helps Celebi. Sensing Sammy is a friend, Celebi flies to Sammy's arm and Sammy runs from the Pokémon Hunter. However things aren't looking good for both Sammy and Celebi so Celebi uses all the power left to travel through time to the future.

40 years later, Ash, Misty and Brock are going to the same place. Sammy and Celebi happens to travel to this time and they meets Ash, Misty and Brock. However another Team Rocket member, Vicious, plans to catch Celebi with his Dark Ball and rule the world. Can Ash and his friends stop Vicious and his evil plans?

The plot is pretty interesting. Since Celebi is a time travelling pokémon, you can expect to see time travelling. Things start to get interesting when Ash and his friends meet Vicious, who has evil and strong pokémon on his side. The graphics and effects of the movie are nice and if you're a pokémon fan, you'll like this movie.
