Early Snow by Larry Elmore
The
Magickal Moon
The magickal moon in its wax or wane,
Empowers the Witch to release or gain.
Moonbeams driving down the powers,
Reaching the Witch calling the Towers.
The waxing moon will restore or advance,
From crescent to circle it will
enhance.
The waning moon will release and
banish,
From full to absent it will vanish.
Embrace the nights and crown the days,
Chart the calendar and the olde ways.
The Crones will chatter and sing the
tune,
For all the Witches to draw down the
moon.

Mother Nature Distressed by Don Matiz
The
Burning Times
Now the Earth is a Witch,
and the greedy burn Her.
Stripping Her down with Mining
and poisoning Her skies.
But to use the Earth is a Healer,
our teacher, our mother,
the weaver of the web of life
that keeps us all alive.
She gives us the vision to see
through the chaos.
She gives us the courage.
It is our will to survive.
