Legend tells of the great soldier named Sephiroth. However, even myth fails to say that this creation of the world tried to make himself God by summoning Meteor. In his wrath, he would absorb the Lifestream from the great wound Meteor would cause, and become all-powerful. His anger, however, was defeated. Cloud Strife killed Sephiroth within the Northern Crater before Meteor hit the earth.
Unfortunately for some, that was not the end of Sephiroth. Unfortunately for some, I say, for even the greatest of evil's can benefit certain people; even the strongest of swordsmans must have allies. For, although he was defeated, another took his place to mirror the One Winged Angel's purpose.
It has been said that Sephiroth was a shadow upon this earth. And sometimes, shadows disappear, only to become darker as the new sun arises. This shadow of the Seraph is barely whispered...
But now, the new day has awakened. And this shadow...this whisper...will start to echo...
