Summer XS in The National Bowl, Milton Keynes. We were there! amonst 45,000 million other people.... By "we" I mean Me, Kay, Vikki, Fran and Carly. Sam was there too, but didn't sit with us and with her mum, aunt and cousin instead. Here's a plan of my day: 8.30: Woke up:D 8.30-9.55: Did getting ready stuff! 9.55-10.00: Car journey to train station. I was first there, then Fran, Vikki, Carly, Kay. 10.05: Realised that I had left my bag in the car!! 10.07: Retrieved bag! 10.08: Went through the barriers and everyone else had to go to the toilet. 10.10: Waved goodbye to our loved ones and went up to platform 3!!!!! 10.19: Got the 10.19 every station train to Milton Keynes Central. approx 11.00: For the first time I got to see the outside of Milton Keynes Central Station!!!! It's quite pretty:D There was a long queue for the shuttle bus so we joined that. There were a lot of people selling useless junk. approx 11.05: Got on the bus bound for The National bowl. We actually got seats! approx 11.15: We got there and started a walk down this road which was opposite a path leading to the local council dump! approx 11.20: We got to the outside of the bowl and Kay, Vikki and Carly bought programs in the shape of things you put round your neck. Vikki and Carly bought Blue flags. We joined a great big crowd trying to get into the bowl. approx 12.15: We were let in and saw the great big place which wasn't very full at the time, with lovely green grass.(at the start!!) appox 12.20: We settled on the grass on the bank. 2.05: The concert started with blazin' squad first up, who's backing track failed! They sang 'living in the summertime' and 'crossroads' and I think thats why they put David Sneddon on after them, he had a band playing with him. He sang 'don't let go' and 2 other songs. Then it was Big Brovaz, who sang 'nu flo', 'favourite things' and 1 more which I can't remember the name of. Then it was Lisa Scott-Lee who was my favourite. She sang 'lately' and one more which was a cover. Next it was Abs. He sang 'what you got' and 'stop sign' accompnied by some enegetic dance routines. Next it was Tommi, a new girl group, they weren't that good. Then it was Darius. You can't fault him for stage presence! He got a little girl up on stage called Megan while he sang 'girl in the moon', he also sang all his other released songs including a medley of 2 of them, it was good. Tantalize, a new girl band came on and sang one song which really didn't get the crowd going. DJ Sammy came on and sang all their hits, that really got the crowd going and were one of the best acts. Kym Marsh came on and sang some things which weren't particularly memorable. Blue were on next, the crowd went mad!! Appleton, were on next and everyone thought they were rubbish. Next on were Atomic Kitten, I really do not like Atomic Kitten Next were Triple 8, which weren't particularly memorable either. The Creeky Girls.....enough said. Next were Simply Red, which was nice. Mis-teeq were cool and on after Simply Red. Daniel Beddingfield was up next but I don't really like him. Sugababes were also cool.(I get them and Mis-teeq mixed up!) Busted was the finale and we left early to advoid the crowds. We waited for a bus and got to the train station where we got a train home:D After a long day we travelled home to rest:D Also, I went to the 2004 one as well:D
