1:The Two-Thousand Pound Goldfish by Betsy Byars

Genre: Fictional real lives if you see what I mean!

Rating: 10/10

Taster: It's about a boy who idealises about his mother and wishes she would come home. He daydreams a lot and makes up sci-fi movies in his head. It is a quite a sad story.

Impressions: I really like this book, it's really good, but if you like stories with a lot of action or horror in it, this book probably not for you as you could percieve it as being boring. I don't though:D

2: Good bye, Chicken Little by Betsy Byars

Genre: Fictional real lives

Rating: 9/10

Taster: A boy watches his uncle walk across Monoday River, only to realise he is the only one in his family that does not do scary stunts. Another sad story by Betsy Byars.

Impressions: This book is a good, short story, it's only downfall is the fact that it's quite short and no time to expain things, but really that doesn't matter. Again not for action-lovers:D

3: The Cartoonist by Betsy Byars.

Genre: Fictional real lives.

Rating: 10/10

Taster: A boy locks himself in an attic.

Impressions: It is a good book, again not for action lovers. Betsy Byars usually sets her stories about peoples' lives:) This one is good, but not as good as The Two-Thousand Pound Goldfish. The copy that I read a copy with a completely wrong cover though, it didn't match what the story descibed.

4: Cirque de Freak by Darren Shaw.

Genre: Horror/Vampires.

Rating: 7/10

Taster: This story is about a boy who goes to a freak cirus believe it or not...

Impressions: I found this book slow and the story either gave you too much information, so you couldn't read into it, or too little, because in some places I found the characters saying something which they have no reason for saying. The story, on the whole is good, but not really my cup of ice-cream:)

Later....: OK now i've read the first 5 books and waiting to read the 6th...so I like it:)

Update: I have read all 9 books and I am waiting for the 10th out in October.

Update: I have read all 10 and are waiting for my friend to finish reading it so I don't give it all away!!

Update: I have read all 11. The last one was quite dark and I hope it has a happy ending in the 12th.
