Tuesday:

Hi everybody!!! i know this page isnt pretty but i havent got time for that-i'm in austria and only 8 mins left till this runs out.

dad has stalled the car loads of times thankfully not on the motoway and getting here was halted by the fact that we missed our turning on the m11, been swimming and walking-tell u more tmr, Saz.

Wednesday:

Hello!!! here again, been walking today - I don't like walking:) How's the weather like at home? It's quite hot here and the flys and wasps are swarming about all over the place, I have 14 mins left. My journal page is not being updated because I cannot copy and paste on this computer, I am not writing out all that html!!! That's why this page isn't really pretty yet. There's nice food here:) See ya soon, Saz. PS. Got chased by a cow down a mountain path - had to pass a lot of them on the way down!!!!

The Storm: This is funny - there was some 60yr odd old people sitting outside at about 8 and they saw that a storm was coming, (I call 'em the WI) so they decided to get the umbrellas down and the cushions in, the wind soon picked up and an umbrella went inside out, then a waitress appeared and went for help - bring back a waiter, he got some umbrellas down and dropped an ashtray on the floor and while the waitress got the main umbrella down (this big yellow and white thing) the waiter pretended to 'lasso' it - it was well funny!!!! My mum was laughing out loud and I was trying to shut her up because he noticed her laughing!!!!

Thursday:

Hello and Gruss Gott!!! I'll make this page better with full details when I get home since I am keeping a record.....Went on a road train today to this lovely gorge and went up a cable car, the storm last night was really funny - til tmr, Saz.

Friday:

Hiiiiii all!!! Had a lazy day today - went table tennising, mini golfing and driving around, also lying around on the swing chair in this lovely hot weather, bliss!!! Enterprise is on tonight - dubbed in German, I'm watching it though!!!! last whole day tmr, Saz.

Satuday:

DANCE EVERYBODY!!!!!!! Hello, I was dancing round the hills today thanks to Rhiannons suggestion that I take my walkman hiking with me, I must of looked soooo strange!!!!

This Keyboards funny, the buttons are in different places!!

Coming home tmr, im looking forward to my broadband internet again, Saz

The Full Story

Monday 18th August 2003

We got up a 5am, got dressed and drove to Stansted Airport, we missed Jnt. 8 on the M11 and Jnt. 9 was miles away, so that cut off a bit of after security shopping time. We had to take a transit to the terminal building and as the doors were closing two men tryed to board, one trapping his briefcase in the door, the doors re-opened and a voice said 'please mind the doors' again, dad says they should've been squashed to teach them a lesson!!!. At the gates dad sat at the wrong gate bewildered at the lack of people in the area! We soon came over and said that is was gate 15 not 19!!! We were some of the last people to board the plane because of that!!!! We got the 8.40 Easyjet flight over to Munchen, Germany and drove down from there to Niederau, in the Wildshonau valley, Tirol, Austria. Munic Airport (North East) by the way is a very confusing, annoyingly built Airport. (My favourite being Chicago O'hare Airport!)

Anyway when we got there we went for a swim and had dinner mmmmm..... vegetable strudel with a broccoli and almond sauce, my favourite meal there! Oh we went to Spar as well sometime that day too as we ate chocolate and I watched tv up in the room. (I like doing that!! Even though I can't understand a word!)

Tuesdsay 19th August 2003

Got up, had brekkie, went to Spar and bought 4 packs of Orange Canpinos, what I haven't peviously mentioned is that when i'm talking about Campinos I mean the orange ones:)

Went for a walk and got a little lost, asked people for help and never really got on the right track, just close enough though! Nearly eat a whole packet of haribo on that walk,they make you feel sick after 5/6ths of the packet though!!!!

Had cheese omelette for tea, played cards, watched tv and slept.

Wednesday 20th August 2003

Got up, ate brekkie. Went up this really big hill, got chased by a cow and walked by lots of them on this steep woodland path. Got attaked by flys and wasps, well, not me they all seem to like the others more than me! Had lunch in Regle, nr Oberau, a village near to Neiderau and walked back via the lovely artistic paths which have sculptures all through it.

Dinner and the storm incident (see above) then slept.

Thursday 21st August 2003

Got up, had brekkie. Went and got a Bummelzug (slowtrain translated, it was actually one of those roadtrain things you see at Brighton pier) to a gorge which we walked through for 2 hours and then we walked back and got the train again. We then had lunch and drove into Alffach and caught the gondla to the top and down again, then we drove a little more and then we went back to the hotel and had dinner. I returned to my room and watched tv, there was this German show on which had Patula Clark (downtown) and Bonnie Tyler on it and also some people were dancing to Shakira's Objection Tango. Slept.

Friday, 22nd August 2003

Lazy day after last night's 12.30. Got up, ate brekkie. Played Table tennis and mini-golf, layed down on the swing chair and organised the giant chess peices.

Drank lemon and orange fanta and ate crisps (lunch) fell asleep and listened to my walkman (the cranberries). In the afternoon we went for a drive to Soll and Hofgarten and stopped at Penningdorf for a snack.

Then it was back to the hotel to have my 30 minutes internet time, ate, tv, slept.

Highlight: Enterprise was on!!! it was in German, but I knew all the words anyway!!

Satuday, 23rd August 2003

Got up, ate brekkie. Went for a walk over the hills to the hill overlooking Worgle and back, stopped at a place for lunch where there was an Austrian band on, wanted to get out of there I can tell you!!! Got back to the hotel and had internet time, dinner and packed, slept.

Sunday, 24th August 2003

Got up, ate brekkie, said goodbye and left hotel. Drove though the border and to this little town where we had ice cream, then we continued to Munchen Airpot which is north east of Munchen. We stopped for lunch near to the airport and then continued onward.

When we got to the airport, we didn't know where to return the car so we went up this big road once, went up a no entry signed road and down the other side, we then found the return car point and walked for hours to find check in, then though to the gates, which is where I bought a donkey photo holder and a pack of uno cards with instructions in 4 major languages except english:) We ate chocolate and borded the plane. 1 1/2 hours we were home in a very nice Stansted Airport, got the transit back to the baggage collect point and then got the baggage, we then got a bus to pink elephant parking, got the car and drove home via the chinese takeaway, ate, went on computer and slept.
