A strange incident
happened after Bolverk played their first gig at Juice which resulted in two
members – Webster and Forbes, being kicked off the premises. This was
caused after the bouncer attacked Forbes from behind and gave him little
choice but to fight back. Since that night Bolverk have played several more
gigs though are yet to play another one at Juice, and are currently looking
to record their songs.

Political Motivations
It may be asked as to what Bolverk stand for, basically it is a movement
back to the old religions before the christian heretics invaded the peoples
of Europe and the British isles. There are of course many other cultures
that have been desecrated by the forms of christianity though none of which
hold any relevance to those playing in Bolverk.
Bolverk support any
attacks that go out to the christians whether they be physical or political,
and encourage all peoples to follow their true religion and respect their
own culture and place theirs above that of others.
Meaning
The word Bolverk comes from the disguise Odin wore on his task to reclaim
The Mead of Poetry. The story goes: After Kvaser the poet was slain by the
two dwarfs Galar and Fjalar they poured his blood into three containers and
mixed it with honey to create the mead of poetry. The dwarfs later killed a
giant and his son Suttung took the mead from them as punishment.
Odin later set out to
find out what had happened to Kvaser and was promised the mead by Bauge,
Suttung’s brother if he worked for him in his fields. After completing the
work for Bauge he was told that he couldn’t have the mead, so Bolverk used
his skills and took it from them. In this way Bolverk reclaimed his child,
as surely as he will eventually reclaim all of his other children in the
face of the lies that they are subjected to.
Only through eternal
vigilance in the face of our enemies can we hope to reach Asatru, and find
our true paths that have layed hidden for so long.
Heil
Odin
