Gandalf the Grey used to be good friends with Bilbo Baggins. Gandalf was a great help for Bilbo in his journey to destroy Smaug the dragon. Gandalf later joins Frodo Baggins on his journey to destroy the one ring. When Gandalf went to Isenguard for the help of Sarauman the white he was kidnapped from Sarauman. Gandalf escapes from Sarauman's treachery and once again joins Frodo Baggins on his journey. When the Fellowship head towards the mines of Moria Gandalf falls while trying to defeat the Balrog, but returns when Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas find him in Fangorn forest.
