Gilderoy Lockhart replaced Professor Quirrell on Harry's second year at Hogwarts. He is an internationally known author and is the object of affection of many of the students at Hogwarts as well as their mothers. Professor Lockhart is extremely self obsessed and constantly looks in the mirror. His dormitory, as well as his classroom, are decorated solely in pictures of himself.
