When submitting fanfiction, if you are a member of the Nittle Grasper ML, please post it there. If you are not a member....WHY NOT?! All submissions MUST have "TCHT: [title of piece]" in the subject line. This way I know it's a contest entry and will be sure to read view it. If you are not a member and would like to participate, follow the same guidelines and e-mail me your entry. Here's how it works...every Monday, I will issue a challenge topic and 5 special words. Your entry must follow the topic and you must use ALL 5 words. Your work will be judged by how the entry is presented. The contest will end on Saturday nights. This will allow me Sundays to review and pick a winner. Fanart Yes, this is allowed. Below are some FAQ about submitting fanart to the contest. 1. Do they have to be in color? That's depends on the topic and words. "Sad Shuiichi" with: pickle, bucket, hay, pony and top hat. This does not mention any colors so they are not required. However: "Yuki has Blue Hair" with: lollipop, earring, rain, umbrella, puppy. This WOULD have to be in color as a color is mentioned and Yuki must have blue hair. You could draw Shuiichi in his dog costume [puppy] standing next to Yuki [with blue hair] in the [rain] under an [umbrella]. Yuki will probably be wearing an [earring] and licking a [lollipop]. See? Everything fits...and it makes for something fun to look at. 3. Does my art need a title and follow format? Yes. All great things have titles and format makes for a nice uniform. 4. Can I draw Lime/Lemon? Sure can...just rate it and follow format. 5. How do you judge art compared to fics? That's easy. I look at the quality of the submission. Does the picture make sense? If it's abstract, is it captivating and amusing? Pictures ARE better eye-candy that fics, I'll admit...BUT I will be fair. Worse comes to worse, I will create a Special Singles section where I will put non-winning fanart that I just CAN'T say no to....but just weren't quite as good as the winning entry. Just because it's entered doesn't mean it will make itthough. It must be something that stands out it my mind. ^-^ 6. If I have art here, can I remove it? Well, if it wins, it also belongs to the site. I don't want to have to mess up the order of the winners tracks. But, as the creater, you do have a right to them.
