Confusion
Soft loving whispers cross the lips of desire
Strong cold words create the illusions of power
They are two, she is one
Which is who and who is she?

Lovers hands touch willing flesh
Violent arms wrech havoc upon a bruised soul
They are two, he is one
Which is who and who is he?

Hope invades a broken heart fueling flames of love
Fear strikes forth, a battle for a broken mind
They are two, I am one
Which is who and who am I?

Compliance
You talk of long walks, talks, brillant golden locks.
Tresses of hair that cover her milky white face.
The way she looks at you, the way she smiles.
Her voice and the soft lilt as she speaks your name.

I've heard the stories of her past, the things you two have done,
The thoughts that run through your head of the next meeting.
The need to be near her, to talk to her, to touch her.
Even the ache that fills your heart in her absence.

I've sat there and listened, preached words of wisdom.
I consoled a wounded heart, and damaged pride.
I never mention the pain you cause, or the way I feel for you
I do you what want, say what you want to here, stay in the background.

Untouchable

I often wonder what it would be like to touch you
Just a soft gentle sweep of my fingertips against your cheek,
Nails raking through your brown hair,
The soft touch of your lips against mine.

I tell you that such things don't matter to me
Insignificant compared to the emotional whirpool you've enveloped me in
They are, and they're not.
To have your heart is bliss, to have your heart and touch...rapture

I've asked you to love me, maybe
I've asked you to care for me, always
I've asked you to guide me, safely
Touch me...

Corruption

The wind whips softly against golden hair.
The stance has been taken.
Determination gleams in bright blue orbs.
The game has begun.

The sun beats down upon bronzed skin.
Eyes stare across the field.
Concentrations crosses his brow.
The game has started.

Two friends become mortal enemies.
The need to win corrupts their souls
A brother lost, a friend no more.
All to be the best.

The Truth
I turn around to face you,
To look you in the eyes,
And put my arms around you,
And kiss you in surprise.

But as I turn around,
You're simply walking away,
The love I once found,
Has turned her back against me.

So I run as fast as I can,
But you just get further away,
Until you meet the shadows,
I'll have to tell you another day.

There are only five words I want to say,
I have always loved you,
But those words are never spoken,
To you I'll always be true.
