Information to help my readers understand what the heck is going on. ^ _~
AN: Sorry its taken me so long to get this out, I’m afraid that I had more to say than I
thought so this is kind of long-winded. I’m sorry if I confuse any of you because I talk to
much!
Standard Egat:
Egat means ‘normal’ or ‘average’. Over the years many planetary leaders have argued the benefits of having one standard money. Of course, these leaders all thought that there planets should be the one used. Eventually and many complaints later the Standard Egat system was created. Planets would of course keep there own money for there planet but when traveling to a different one would use Standard Egat.
Earth background:
The Earth is no longer divided by continents and countries. The fifth World War resulted
in two counteas (Count-ee). Asia, Europe, Africa, and Antarctica make up Countea East.
and North America, Australia, and South America make up Countea West. Both halves
are controlled by Elected Counsels of roughly 30 men and women each. Peace has
reigned on Earth for many centuries. The people of Earth all pray that this peace will
continue.
The closest habitable planet to Earth is Glienti (Gli-en-ty). The people of this small planet
look mostly like humans. However there eyes are most commonly yellow and orange.
There average height is 4’ 5”. Glientian’s have three stomachs and as anyone can tell you
they are NEVER full. Not the most intelligent species, but one of the most hardworking
and true. Another strange attribute of these people is there method of child rearing. When a female Glienti becomes pregnant she and her husband choose a job for there child, ranging from doctors to janitors. Once the child is 2 years old he/she is taken to a
Learning Home (LH) In the LH the child learns all it needs to know to become the
requested person. Without the documentation that you have been in a LH no one on
Glienti will hire you. Dyro is a perfect example of this. He ran away from his LH and
ended up developing the human problem called kleptomania (You steal things, no matter if you need them or not).
Yrokia (Rue-Key-a) is another planet Earth has close ties too. The Yrokian’s are a
peaceful people, having long since banished war from there planet. They are also a people of healing and medicine. Yrokian’s have healing properties that are trained in them from an early age. At the age of seven a child is taken to a Temple where they must stay for at least three years of training to control their power. Those who stay longer become very powerful or become teachers themselves. Yrokian’s have been known to visit other
planets or to even live on another planet for a short time but they must always return to
there home because they cannot mentally endure the harsh worlds that still have war and other related problems.
Dananfi (Danan-fe) is one of the most secluded and estranged planets that Earth has any
contact with. Although it is the richest and wisest. People often spend millions of dollars
to send there children to Dananfi for education. Dananfi are a proud people and evoke
large tariffs on those trying to come to there planet. Dananfi technology is sought after all
over the known Universe. Dananfians look just like humans except for the Royal family.
The Royal family has had silver eyes and hair for as long as anyone can remember.
Dananfi is one of only two planets that is known to openly deal in the Magick arts. No
one really knows just what the people of Dananfi are capable of. One thing however is for
sure, nobody pisses off a Dananfian under ANY circumstance.
The Priestesses, not much is known about them. They are human. But how they came to
settle on Doulouge, no one can say. They are, if possible even more arrogant than the
Danafian’s. They too use Magick. Becoming a Priestess is not easy and takes many years
of learning and pushing yourself to the physical limit and beyond. Skilled in battle and
strategy they are often called mercenaries. True some of the best ones are at least partially trained Priestesses, but that rumor is far from the truth. They care not for the quarrel’s of other planets. Priestesses are loyal only to their sisters.
M.I.A. (Mobile Intelligent Aviator):
You’ll just have to keep reading. More information on her will be reveled later on in the
story. Just as I will explain Shal-lania, Jared, and Dyro’s pasts. I will also go into Kali’s
more thoroughly.
Hunter's are one of the few groups to ever willingly go into the A.T. They are considered
to be human but they experiment on themselves to become stronger and larger. They live for the hunt, hence the name. Hunter's normally only go after game that has proved
difficult or there is a large reward offered. They never stop until they get there prey or
die. They are macho-egotistical morons that believe females are for only two things,
reproducing and caring for there man. Most Hunter's have several 'wives' who are taken
from there families and homes and turned into meek little servants. Some of these women already have husbands and children when they are taken. Hunter's ignore all laws but there own, and it's not a long list.
