It was quite a day...we laughed, we cried, we cheered. Kirk Hinrich and Nick Collison played their last game in Allen Fieldhouse. They are two of the best players ever to grace our court, and we'll sure miss them. Both got choked up when talking about family. Nick, when talking to his grandma about his grandpa, who passed away the week before, and Kirk when tell his family how much he loved them. Fans gave both seniors a hero's goodbye. We love you Kirk and Nick!!!

Nick and Kirk both get emotional while giving their speeches. Nick talked about his family and all the trips they had made and sacrifices they had made for him. Kirk's first remark was that he'd never been more nervous in his life!

The guys laugh as Kirk confesses his nervousness.

Fans showed their devotion to the two seniors during pre-game warmups. They were both announced for the last time in Allen Fieldhouse Saturday, March 1, to a standing ovation.

After pulling Collison late in the second half, Coach Williams personally told him thank you. Oklahoma State Coach Eddie Sutton came over to congratulate Hinrich when he came out for the last time.
