Catching Star Dust

Gracefully she gathers
Stardust from the sky
Handfuls of this bounty
Falls to you from high

Upon the hearts of many
Her journey now begun
Cascading in a gentle breeze
Life's gift for everyone

Feel the joy emerging
Floating from the air
Stars and dust together
Emerging like a prayer

Light fills up the heavens
When darkness comes at night
See the glowing beauty
Each flicker silver bright

See a shooting star go by
My hope that you will see
Glow upon God's canvas
Night's sparkling gallery

As the dark emerges
Love's miracle to share
Stars and moonbeams glowing
There's magic everywhere.
