Hey all! I am very sorry that I haven't had a chance to post the days lesson. It's the end of my school year, and I've been cramming for my finals, and just being very busy with all that's going on. Today's lesson is, once again, on candles. But today we won't be learning about the colors or types of candles. Today you will be making a candle. Decide which you would rather prefer, pig fat, or bee wax. I have supplied you with everything, down to to the mold. If you will look around you will see little bottles with dye in them. This dye is from very unique herbs in the Forbidden Forest, so if you ever want to make another candle outside of class, be sure to come and tell me and I will get the color you need. You have Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green to pick from. I never taught you anything on green. Green is a great color for performing magical skills. It represents fortune and well-being. Depending on what you plan to do with these candles, please select your color. Now, you will need to concentrate TREMENDOUSLY to put the proper magic into these. Now, take your wax cube and put it in the bowl I've supplied you with. Take out your wands, and use a heating charm to melt it. While it melts set up your mold. First, select the wick you want to use. There is a cotton one, a leather one, and a traditional twine one. Cut the string to the disired length, no shorter than 6 inches, and no longer than 8 inches. Now place the string into the little metal plate, and insert it into the bottem of the mold. Now for the mold. Put the two pieces together and tap with your wand. The charm to get the molds to stay closed and sealed is "Veratrandosum". Reach down into the mold with your tweezers and pull out the wick. Pull it tight and hold it that way. Tap the mold with your wand again. The little hole around the wick should close and hold the wick tight in place. Your wax should be melted now. Take the color you chose and drop four drops of it into the wax. Let it mix naturally, not by any means of physical force. After it is mixed pick up the bowl. If you look on the mold you will see a hole. Poor the wax into the mold until the bowl is empty. Once again tap the mold with your wand, the last hole should close. Now please bring your molds up here, carefully now. Tomorrow we will open them, and see how your candles turned out. Please clean up, it's almost time for the bell. No homework tonight!
