$$Big Motha-Our Ship$$
We cruised from Miami through the Caribbean on
the decks of
Explorer of the Seas
It's the largest cruise ship in the
world, owned by the Royal Caribbean. Compared to the measely Carnival
fleet, our ship is Goliath and breathed a mint of gold.
In Ya
Face! With 13 decks, hundreds of stairs, and elevators that we rarely used
(they were sooo slow while helping other needy passengers), this ship has it
all.
Oh yeahhhh.
The pools were washed every night. They were salt water strait from the
ocean and the hot tubs were 'un poco caliente'....pues, MUCH CALIENTE! The
hot tubs were very hot, and relaxing after working out in the universal gym and
on the basketball court. That's where the ladies tended to be, so you know
us men were there an awful lot...'Cept we were mostly there at night, which
explains my NOT getting much of a tan :(

This is
the 'seaport,' which is nothing more than a terminal very semilar to the ones at
an airport except it works with ships.
You see
that bug in the background? That there is the pride and joy of the
Carnival fleet-the S.S. Norway. Remember her? She's the one whose
oilers exploded. Oh yah, our fog horns, ha, they were about 10 times
louder than the Norway's. In Cozumel, our ship towered the neighboring Carnival
that only had wooden decks (ewww) and one tiny hot tub. This picture is of
our ship's sister, the same size, but I can't remem it's name. We were on
the JEWEL OF THE SEAS!

The inside of the ship is even greater than the outside. It hosts
several dining
rooms the size of ice rinks, a mini-mall, a really small ice
rink, and much more! Lok at all that color, its like a rainbow!
For those losers who have to read on vacation, and for me who
had to email certain peeps, they've got a library and an extremely costly
computer room for browsing the net. I actually spent a lil' time in the
library....just keepin up on the news from the Times.

Coast
Guard's getting ready for our takeoff...

And we're OUTTA HERE!
