Be sure to view Eiserntor's Cingene Sihir, or "Maggie" as we call her. Whelped March 17, 2003, Maggie has already decided that the show ring is the place for her. At just three months old, she took a 3rd in Puppy Working Group at a fun match. She was the youngest puppy in the ring, with the next youngest at 5 months old! Maggie's first AKC show was the ASDCA National Specialty at Atlanta, GA, September 2004 where she took Winner's Bitch!
With confirmation from OFA of Moderate Hip Dysplasia, it is with great sadness that on September 20, 2005 Maggie was spayed. Read the story here.
Briar Patch Brinks v Gypsy! "Brinks" traveled all the way from North Carolina to New Mexico to be with us! Whelped December 11, 2004, Brinks has the promise of excellence! At 15 months, Brinks took Best of Breed at the UKC Carolina Classic, April 2, 2006, over Bear. Then, on June 12, 2006, took Best of Opposite to Tamoora's Amir at Harrisonburg, VA

In March 2006, Gypsy Anatolians imported a new little Piccolina! Aslan's Minnos v Gypsy was whelped December 9, 2005, in Bergamo, Italy and arrived in the United States on March 9th. She is an amazing little girl with great promise.
THERE'S A NEW GIRL IN TOWN!
WE HAVE A NEW BOY! January 14, 2009, IKRAM flew from Aslan Anatolians in Italy to the US. He was whelped November 3, 2008, in Bergamo, Italy and is a son of Ayri and Old Glory Kartal. Our thanks to Nino Azzolin for this precious gift and a wonderful addition to our family! His page is coming soon, but you can see him at http://www.flickr.com/photos/gypsyasd/.

New protocols are being considered and/or adopted by all Veterinary schools in North America. The research indicates changes that could present ethical and economical challenges for some vets and some will be skeptical. Some organizations have come up with a compromise suggesting vaccinations on a three (3) year schedule to appease those that fear a loss of income vs those concerned with the potential side effects. Politics, "common practice," or the veterinarian's economic well-being should not be a factor when making a medical decision. The ultimate well-being of your puppy should be your only concern.

In Turkey the Anatolian has been used to cart produce to the market. Bear loves carting and is learning to pull the wagon for a whole variety of purposes.
Bear has always done whatever he's asked and does it with pride!
Bear has just started pulling a cart and is very willing.
Each time Bear is put in harness, you can see the improvement. He has no other dog to watch, so he has to figure things out. Anatolians are great at problem solving, and Bear is no exception.
Bear loves the snow as well as his home in the mountains of New Mexico. We've just moved to the foothills in North Carolina and true to Anatolian form, he's developing his new domain.
He takes his responsibilities very seriously!
Bear likes all the trees at our new home.
Even Nobe has taken to the new place - he knows that Bear will provide protection and a hug when needed!
Shades of Excellence Great Danes!
Bear, Brinks and Minnos all have passed the Canine Good Citizens test.
They really just like posing for the camera!
