In September 1992, a kindergarten student was somehow amused with the abbrevation "Sat." for Saturday during calendar time. "Sat" became a buzzword. About a month later, however, it evolved into "patsat". "Patsat" was used for everything that required words. This word remained in common use at the school until June 1995, when he left. It is believed that it was used for a few months after he left, as well.
"Patsat" remained dormant from 1995 until recently, when its purpose was analyzed. "Patsat" has no part of speech and no definition. Therefore, "Patsat" is to English as "x" and "y" are to Algebra. It is a variable word that can mean anything. In the past it has been used as a substitute for "pizza", "pencil", "dang-it", "ball", "computer", "piano," "love", "I love you," and the name of the inventor or his friends.
In November 2003, "patsat" was written on a piece of paper for the first time in over eight years. The concept of a variable word is once again needed.
