Notes (Excerpts from The Concert File):
This concert was held on temporary flooring over a swimming pool and Plant was obviously wary of this and makes references to it throughout the concert. "I don't know whether the 12 foot end's this one or that one. God help us! I'm sure you must have a town hall!"
Heartbreaker again included 'Feelin' Groovy, which now became a regular feature. During the acoustic set, Page attempted the opening bars of 'Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp' but gave up on the idea.
They performed a truly inspired, very experimental version of 'Dazed and Confused'. The extra songs in the 'Whole Lotta Love' medley were standard for this tour, but the delivery was always outstanding.
The real surprise came with the final encores - a rare run through of Eddie Cochran's Weekend and an even rarer stab at 'Gallows Pole' (not included in this version). The latter two songs came to light on a complete audience recorded cassette tape that emerged in 2000 - it was duly issued on EVSD's Feelin' Groovy Definitive Edition.
