Freddie the Friendly Fern
I once had nice bit of swampland out in the woods. Every day a skunk would pop out of his hole nearby and wake me up at night. Every so often a family of deer would come galloping over me towards the nearby stream. My favorite time of year was turkey season, those dumb turkeys would come strolling through my house and one time I tripped one and he fell flat on his face. Not many animals disturb me, I’m not very tasty, and I’m stuck in with the skunk cabbage so everyone thinks I smell. My two greatest enemies are rabbits and floods. We had a small boy who would trek through here and take care of the rabbits, but when that stream got over flowed watch out because you my be up to your stem in rain water.
