My Speculation

I predict that either Dumbledore or Sirius Black will become the Minister of Magic. I don't know why I think Sirius Black might become it... but oh well. If you haven't noticed, the Dursley's cat-loving neighbor who doesn't like cats so much anymore, is named Mrs. Figg. And at the end of Book 4, Dumbledore tells Sirius to alert Lupin, Arabella Figg, and the Fletcher person. Could Arabella Figg be Harry's neighbor? Is that one of the reasons why Harry is so protected? I think so. Why? Hmm... because I think it's doubtful that JKR would have used the same name twice otherwise. And when asked about it, she didn't say no. We shall see... JKR has also said the editors cut out Ron's other cousin who was supposed to be in it. Supposedly mean and named Icicle. That was one of the big Book 4 rumors. I think Icicle will be back in a future book and will have a big role. Now one of the only mistakes I've noticed in the Harry Potter books during my first reading of it was near the end of Book 4. If you recall, the Priori Incantatem makes a wand perform it's last spells backwards from how they were performed. James Potter was supposedly killed before Lily, but he came out first. That just popped out to me the first time I read the book. Mistake? I think not. JKR took so long writing the book, I think she had time to proofread it a lot, and would have noticed that obvious mistake. I don't know why she would have done this, but it sure is odd... Just in! I have decided to keep this old rumor here anyway, even though it's wrong. In later versions of the book this is fixed and James came out after Lily. So.... that means there is no big conspiricy and disregard all the speculation about this subject.

In a recent interview, JKR stated that Evans is Lily Potter's maiden name. I think she just said that to confuse us readers. If I were her I'd be havin fun and doing stuff like the Figg coincidence just to make rumors spring up. I do not believe that is her maiden name. But, it could always be Voldemort's mom's maiden name. If it were Lily's maiden name I believe it would somehow be connected with Tom Riddle. I don't know where I get my ideas, but hey.

I hope JKR has more main characters die. She probably will, and I hope she does, because it's kind of annoying when in movies like Star Wars the people never die. I mean I could of killed anyone of the main characters in that movie about 10 times. Same with a lot of other books. I think she'll probably have a Gryffindor die, and I think Colin Creevey(or however you spell his name) will. I don't know why, but he is very annoying, and almost did once.

I also hope people who we would never expect to, will go over to the Dark Side. Why? I dunno. This also will probably happen. I think Fudge will. I think this because Fudge got the dementor to perform the kiss on Crouch. Even if he supposedly didn't know about Voldemort, he would have wanted to know how Crouch got out of Azkaban. I think he knew all about the Voldemort plot, and was trying to destroy any evidence. Another thing is how he won't do anything against Voldemort. He says he'll get kicked out of office, but he would have noticed something wrong with the whole picture and the murders. Also, Dumbledore "saw him clearly for the first time". I think this means he noticed Fudge was evil.

I think Hagrid and Madame Mixine will probably try and get the giants on the good side, as they were called at the end of the book. I also think Snape's secret task was to become a Death Eater again. I also think the dementors will most likely get out of Azkaban before Voldemort gets there. I think it will be a very shaky school year next year. I think the new Defence Against the Dark Arts(DADA) teacher will be Fleur. I think so because Fleur said she would try and get a teaching job there, in addition to the fact that JKR said there would a female DADA teacher in the future. I think Dumbledore knows some flaw Voldemort made in using Harry's blood to bring him back, as he had a look of triumph on his face when Harry told him. I also think that in one book (maybe the last one at the end) Peter Pettigrew will save Harry's life when he's about to get killed. He may even turn on Voldemort and be the reason for his finally getting killed.

Well that's all the speculation I've got in me right now. I'll add more as I think of it, but for right now you can either think about it or think I'm nuts.
