ABOUT THIS SITE

On December 18, 2000, The Ultimate Site was created. This was to be the main page for many different smaller pages, which each would focus around a different topic. One of the topics was Harry Potter, and that was the first topic I made. It became known as The Potter Republic. About a month into its contruction, however, real life issues caused me to stop the site. I had projects in school that I had to do, and I didn't have time to construct the site. Gradually, I just totally stopped work on the site.

Now "the potter republic" is back. In the summer of 2001 I decided to start "the potter republic" again. I abandoned The Ultimate Site idea (for now) to just focus on 'the potter republic.' I will not publicly release the site until it is almost completely finished. I have the entire summer, and I will probably be done by the end of it.

This site was made to be a place for people to come for all of their Harry Potter needs. If they needed information about spells and things from the books, this had it. If they wanted to know things about already released Harry Potter books (such as book cover, mistakes, etc.) they could find it here. If they wanted to know about the upcoming Harry Potter books, this site had it. If they wanted to shop for Harry Potter items, this site had links to where they could go. If they wanted to know about the movie, this site had the info. If they wanted a nice, friendly place where they could chat, post on message boards, and post and read Fan Fics and Fan Art (well, they'd look at this) this was the place to go. If they wanted to know about top news stories within the Harry Potter world, they could find it here, before many other places had it. If they wanted to be entertained by games, this site had links to some cool Harry Potter games. And, if for some reason they hadn't found what they were looking for, this site had links to other great Harry Potter sites.

This site was made to be very helpful, and it will be. It does, however, need the support of fans to be as great as possible. This site will be a place for all Harry Potter fans for several years, and I hope people will come back faithfully until then.
