Here are some fantasy books that I recommend you read. I don't really read that much fantasy, so there are only a few books here.

J.R.R Tolkien's The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings- I can't possibly recommend this enough. It is a higher reading level than Harry Potter, but most early teens can read it. These book are just as good if not better than Harry Potter. That's how good they are. If you haven't read them- stop whatever you're reading right now (if anything), go buy them, and read them. And even if you have read them, pick them up again and re-read them. These books are truly awesome.

Ursula K. Le Guin's Earthsea: A Wizard of Earthsea, The Tombs of Atuan, The Farthest Shore, and Tehanu: The Last Book of Earthsea. These book are very good. They are a higher reading level than Harry Potter, and probably a little lower than the Lord of the Rings. These books are very good, but not quite as good as Harry Potter. I still highly recommend that you read these however.
