www.thisisamagazine.com is a web-based magazine with a focus on text, illustration, animation, photography, design, concepts and fashion. Each issue is based on a various theme. The magazine's navigational interface is linear and based on traditional book design, it is interactively "tangible" in the sense that the user would treat it as a real magazine. The site is professional and privately owned, the contents are put together by a collective of artists who showcase their various pieces to those in the know. The target audience is very specialized, geared towards enthusiasts of new media design. The narrative structure of the site is that of multivocal: with particular attention to Issue #4. Each page has something to say. |
