Thoughts Of Freedom-

Although the colonials never expressed their need for liberty they did have those thoughts. When the Seven Years War (French and Indian War) occured it showed the colonials that the British weren't undestructable and able to be overcome.

Miilitias-

The colonials were rebels and during the revolution they fought against the red coats anytime they could. These rebels formed a malitia group named Minutemen. Which were little groups of colonials which were ready in a minute to fight. These Minutemen had a somewhat Guerilla Warfare, which was when you attack and leave the battle site.
