Well, that was a nice little vacation. I went to North Carolina from the 9th to the 19th, and updated maybe once in the meantime. The trip was great, and while nothing stupendously amazing happened, I still found myself enjoying most of it. I picked up Iron Maiden: Visions of the Beast and Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age (I know, most of you know that I usually get roughly 20 cds while in North Carolina, not this time I guess).

In a related topic, I finally friggin beat Golden Sun 2 yesterday, after five days of continually losing to the final boss. Damn, I had about enough of that crap. But the game was immensely good, and extremely hard. If you have a Game Boy Advance but don't have either of the Golden Suns, get them both. If you don't have a Game Boy Advance, get one, poor boy.

Visions of the Beast is a Double DVD set containing all of Iron Maiden's music videos, plus a little bit extra (other videos). All in all, good packaging, good presentation, good price ($19.95). Oh yeah, and the music is good, too.

Three days ago, I ordered a Group X T-Shrett and a copy of 40 Oz. Slushie (autographed and out-of-print). Also, the drummer of Group X (Rex) sent me a free autographed copy of Stepping on the Crowtche owf your American Presidaint, so I think this year will be even more Group X filled than last. Yay, that sounds good. Also, apparantly 2 new Group X cds will be released by winter this year (I hope, they've been putting it off for a year or two), one of music and one of phone calls.

Work on the Pills debut cd has basically been halted, maybe until I learn how to drive or something. However, Darius 4 Prezz seems to be coming to a head, and work may begin soon. DariUSA, the decided title of their debut cd, will be written and recorded during the duration of our junior year. And due to the nature of Jerry (and maybe myself), D4P may be doing more than one cd in that time.

Too much Avril Lavigne in my head. My cousins like Avril, and my sister likes Avril, and my cousin's friend likes Avril, so I'm afraid I've been doused with it all vacation. I've unfortunately had some of the songs stuck in my head for days at a time, and I've actually come to know some of the lyrics. I'm going insane, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. I think I just need some time alone with Zeppelin. And that can be arranged, considering school is starting in roughly two days, and I make the bus ride to school and back a music session. Though I haven't gotten too many cds to keep myself entertained. Only about 250.

School tomorrow... more like fooool tomorrow. I had to go in today to change my courses around, so I had to sit around my mom's office for a few hours reading, waiting for an opportunity to talk with guidance. At any rate, out of McGowan and into Souza, and out of general and into academic US History. Man, I'm so cool. I also got Web Design rather than Drawing, because I wouldn't have gotten a Drawing credit this year, having already taken it last year. Well whatever, I hope this year doesn't blow.

I've been listening to Weezer's Pinkerton way too much lately, probably more times in the past few days than I have previously, combined. Maybe not, but pretty close. It gets better every time, and none of the songs are lacking in catchiness. Cool. Wow. Whatever.
