6/18/02 (kal)
hey hey hey, it's 4:20. But no one cares. Yes, it must be around the second time I've updated this month. Well you know how hard it is to update in the summer. So much to do all the time, like sleeping, watching tv, sleeping, going to sleep, being asleep, being unconsious, you know how it is. Well, I'm currently renovating under the bands section, System of a Down is now up, though Matt's review has been up for months. I still need to fix the links, and they will be done by the end of today.
I've made it a mission this summer to listen to every single cd I have, (yes even the blink182s, the smashmouths, and the other cds I got around 7th grade when I liked that style of shit. I'm currently on my sixth blink182 cd, Ohh, the horror! The Horror! Fortunately I have allowed myself to skip songs that I have already heard, so live and greatest hit cds are not necessary, unless I choose to listen to them. I think this is somewhere around my 18th hour of listening. I started at 10 in the morning yesterday until 12 last night (though I missed maybe 2 hours somewhere along the line), and I started at 10:30 this morning (oversleeping messes up schedules), It's now 4:32 and I missed maybe an hour and a half due to the incompetence of my sister. So far I have listened to:

AC/DC: Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
AC/DC: Back In Black
Adam Sandler: They're all going to laugh at you!
Adam Sandler: What the hell happened to me?
Adam Sandler: What's your name?
Adam Sandler: Stan and Judy's kid
Aerosmith: Big Ones
Alice in Chains: Tripod
Beatles: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Beatles: 1962-66 CD1
Beatles: 1962-66 CD2
Black Crowes: $hake your money maker
Black Crowes: amorica.
Black Crowes: Lions
Blink 182: Buddha
Blink 182: Cheshire Cat
Blink 182: Dude Ranch
Blink 182: Enema of the State
Blink 182: The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show [The Enema Strikes Back]
Blink 182: Take off Your Pants and Jacket

That's 20 cds, and I still have a LONG way to go. I now regret having so many cds. Still up,

Blink 182: I Won't Be Home For Christmas
Bush: Razorblade Suitcase
Collective Soul: Hints, Allegations, and Things left unsaid
Collective Soul
Collective Soul: Disciplined Breakdown
Collective Soul: Dosage
Collective Soul: Blender
Collective Soul: 7even Year Itch
and many more. Man, Blink 182 sucks. A lot. Why did I get them, and now, why haven't I sold them yet? Hey, have you seen commercials for that Reign of Fire thing? It says that the Dragons are older than the dinosaurs. Bullshit, dragons were generally know for terrorizing medieval English villiages, in the early Anno Domini. Hmm, maybe they were older, from the PreCambrian time period or Paleozoic, and their fossil just dissapeared. Yeah, that's it. There were dragons, and they are older than the dinosaurs and smarter than raptors. Oh yes yes yes, bravo Mr. Hollywood producer, what a brilliant train of thought. Well, no. No, no. That's a worse idea than making Jurassic Park 4. Imagine the title: Jurassic Park IV. They have the scratch marks oddly placed in an IV formation. But no one would question it, and I'm a fucking idiot. I'm going to go work on the band section. Maybe you can expect to see some reviews this summer, but don't get your hopes up.

6/22/02 (Matt-o, "Really?!"said the watchers)
Well, if it's any help it's always 4:20 (whether it's a time zone thing or you're just a piece of "toast"). I've been awake for about a week now, today I got a record 6 hours of sleep. That was only because I saw Korn last night and I was really tired afterwards. One of our other three correspondents (and the leader of another website with a cult following)was there, Chris was sitting only about two rows ahead of us. I didn't get to talk to him much because he and his Dad were making a mosh pit out of the aisle, as they hit each other sitting down, while wayne's brother (I think his name is keith) was in the midst of it. I think Chris and co. had tickets to the middle or something because they left only after a few songs had been played (damn those flap-jack bastards). We were also treated (woops I didn't spell that right, I meant tortured) with two opening bands, Deadz or Deadeyes (I don't remember) and puddle of mudd. I do not care to capitalize the latter band's name as they suck dick, they began to play war pigs and it was sounding o.k., but then they went back into their shit plastered song. They need to send their lead singer, who looks and sounds like that whiny bitch from fuel, back to the Adema try-out lines. Deadz or Deadeye was better, if not a bit typical, and played a good version of a Rush song that I think if I remember correctly was called "captain Barley". Anyways, Korn kicked ass and are the direct result of me having a very strained neck (and making me fall down when I got up this morning) as a result of much jumping-head-bang-excitment. Last week I saw Trey Anastasio at the tweeter center and that was really awesome too. At both concerts I kinda had near death experiences, I won't bore you with the exciting details, but one involved lighter fluid and a stubborn grill and the other involved a car and a DON'T WALK sign (I wasn't just me though, everyone was walking through those signs, I was simply jumping off the bridge into the shallower section of the water). I should go now and not sleep as I have regained my energy.
Matt-o-Mac is the strong sponser of sugar in the raw and pepsi one (NOT REGULAR PEPSI THOUGH).

6/23/02 (malachai...)
Matt went to a Korn concert? Matt, not long ago you told me that you didn't really like Korn, and you always shudder, or shake your head, or sigh when I mention Fieldy's Dreams, so what gives (wait, did I just say what gives?)? Trey Anastasio? Sure, why not. Korn? Sure, why not. Hey, you know what? I'm going to start saying "suck dick". I thought that Alice hacked into our site again, because the things written here and on her site are remarkably similar. Ah, everyone shut up. On Saturday, I'm going to North Carolina for a month of fun in the sun. Well, fuck that, I'll probably be inside most of the time anyways. Are any of you aware (why am I bothering to ask? this information hasn't left the house up until now) that my mother has be FORCING me to go into the sun?! Yes, it's true! Yesterday I was forced to lay on a little folding chair... in the sun... with my shirt off! Oh, the humanity! You know what? Fuck the sun! Fuck the stupid motherfucking sun. Today my mom tried to make me go outside for an hour, but after a few hours of me arguing and refusing to go outside, she finally gave up. Ha, power to darkness. I hate the sun, I hate it I hate it I hate it. Why hasn't it exploded yet? Or why isn't it at least a few trillion more miles away? We need a fucking ice age here, people. Seriously, we do. As for the cd listening thing, I'm up to Incubus. Man, I had to listen to 18 Doors cds! It didn't get boring though, I was sad when it was over. But that took up a day and a half of listening. Whew! I didn't know I had so many! It's a good thing Blink 182 cds are short, because I have a lot of them and I hate them. I'll soon be going through Metallica, Nirvana, The Offspring, and Primus, which is a total of over 30 cds (I think). Well I have to go. Bubye.
