Be back after homework, gotta go.

Hey, I'm back. You know what? I'm mad (uh oh, where have we heard this before?) My computer, as you may know, I consider to be spawn of the devil. I came home, ready to edit this site, and some thing came up that said "Disk Error" or something like that. You know, that screen that shows up when you have a floppy in the computer when you turn it on. Well, this happened to me once about two or three years ago. There was no disk, but it insisted that there was. So I put in the quick restore (which deletes every single piece of crap you have in the computer!) and restarted. I had no disks to back up on, I wasn't ready for this. So I went through the restoration thing, which took about 15 minutes, and it told me to restart. So I did, but I took out the restore disk and put in the Windows 98 Plus! disk, but then it said "No operating system". So I put the disk back in, and the startup screen came on again, so I figured I did something wrong. But this time, the setup took about an hour and a half, and I was pretty mad. But then it restarted, and the setup screen came on again, so I decided to take the disk out, and it worked. I wasted about 2 hours from incomplete directions. Yeah, I was mad. So then I start to install the internet again (only IE4) and it says "have a credit card and recent phone bill ready." So I waited a long time for my mom to finally get it out of her pocket book, but after finally installing the internet, it turned out that we didn't even need it, we just needed to continue from an existing membership. Hachi, Machi! Just one of those days. Anyways...

Get that off my chest, phew. Anyways, it's been three days since "Pearl Harbor 2" (no, not the movie you chic freaks) happened, and I don't know if I'm just being insensitive, but I'm really tired of it. Maybe the terrorists' job was to get everyone to talk about it constantly to annoy the American people to death. But ha, what they didn't know was that the common American is so worried about how he/she looks in the eyes of others that they could talk about anything for hours on end, just like Hanson could listen to their MMM*Crap for any given amount of time. Am I the only one who finds it annoying that everywhere I go, each and every person in every room of every building is saying every single little detail they know about the "tragedy"? Sure, it's sad and maybe even devastating, but seriously. We all know every vital thing we need to know about it, I don't care about some freelancing photographer's view on it is. I don't care if the hijackers used "knife-like instruments". They could have used rubber bands for all I care. I might be interested if the "knife-like instruments" doubled as musical instruments and they lulled them to sleep, but I would only be interested if that were possible, which it isn't, so I'm not. Boo-yah.

(still same article, I'm on a roll) Okay, I think I'm going to be doing full reviews of each Doors CD, since I haven't gotten a vote in my guestbook in years, and the site hasn't even been running that long. So I've basically thrown the "voting system" out the window. Matt-O-Mac has been telling me to put the lyrics to the Soft Parade song in the Song of the Day to make up the the probably two months I haven't done anything. In addition to the reviews, I'll also put full album lyrics on the page too. I have a feeling the Doors reviews will be a long, if not succesful, part of our site. I've been planning most of this article out for about a week, but the homework is really annoying me. Like I have simple math homework every night, but it's so easy for me to get distracted by the simplicities of my room, ie tv and music. Music; can't concentrate on homework with it, too bored to do homework without it. Hey, I recently visited Alyss... I mean Alice Boris' page, pisshead's critics inc. It's pretty interesting, she seems to address the "audience" as I do; I pretend an audience is there, I pretend they're all stupid, and then I make fun of them. "Alice" tends to do the same, constantly stating how stupid the readers are, but then clarifies how no one is even there to accept the insults. Anyways, I think I've written my share today, if only I could do this every day. Watch out for Soft Parade lyrics and eventually Doors reviews. I will inform you when each one is done.

9/15/01 (Matt-o) Well i'm back for my weekly updates. As you may already know I don't have the ability to update on the weekdays because my sister took my home computer to umass with her. If you haven't visited alice's site yet you should it's at www.angelfire.com/ct3/critics (i'm not going to make it into a link, you lazy bums are boing to have to type it in. What happened to me this week is what you may be asking. Nothing much. I had a couple of tests and such in school and I made a model of Morrison hotelin sculpture class. In Youth Group the boys had to stay at the church and watch "The Mighty Pawns" (does that remind you of another inspirational teen-movie title?) while the girls got makeovers and such somewhere else. Finnaly the Soft Parade has gone on the song of the day and i'll make sure to put another song on too. I'll do a review of The Doors:Essential Rarities for the matt music section and i'll do some 20/100 stuff too. What else should I say? I rented Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on DVD today so maybe i'll review that, or maybe i'll request alice to do that on her site seeing as how she's pissed off at her many visitors who don't recommend movie reviews (ya you do it Alice!). In English yesterday I didn't bring my cd's the one day when I could play them! But next week I will so we'll be listening to the first three songs of The Doors: E.R. Hello To The Cities (not really a song), Break On Through (the live version which is the best one), and Roadhouse Blues. That will be cool. Yesterday I went to my cousins birthday and all the youngin's loved me because I watch cartoons but I think their feeling towards me changed as I constantly bashed the multiple boy bands out there (Boy bands are just asking to be insulted with the songs they sing). I have ten dollars. Well i'll put those other things on later today so watch out(I might write about the simpsons in t.v. because I feel like doing just that).

Hey, I'm mad. I wrote down an article for today, but Matt erased it! I usually save the file to disk, but I was in a hurry to leave. Anyways, I wrote about how Matt's a lazy bum for more than one reason, the other is that he only has internet access once a week, but I see you've already covered that one, bum! The reason I left quickly was because I went to Wal*Marts and bought Weezer: The Blue Album (with my own money, nonetheless) and just a few minutes ago (it's 7:30 right now) I bought a Doors cd online from the Bright Midnight label, accessable only through the official site. It's Live at Cobo Hall, a 2-disk set with 27 songs, and 22 of them are previously unreleased. What happened there was that sometimes Jim would play extra long, until he couldn't even stand up, and this was an example. He played for about an hour too long, and Cobo Hall banned them from the place forever. Ah, that Jim. Anyways, I finished a review of The Doors (as I've said, but someone had to screw it up) under a link to Morrison Shrine, over there <--. Enjoy. I also wrote about how I was going to see Collective Soul at Foxwoods yesterday, but the bombings made them cancel. Blast! However, on Tuesday they are releasing a greatest hits called 7even Year Itch with all their great stuff plus 2 new songs. Get it. Also, sometime in November Green Day is releasing a new cd, and I'm not sure if it's a greatest hits but it's called International Superhits. Check it out.
