The Doors: Greatest Hits

(Because this review was originally under the mattmusic portion of the site this review of The Doors Greatest Hits doesn't follow the same reviewing system as the other Doors albums).First of all Kal you're suppose to do an explanation and for lazy people a simple rating (which we use the patented 1 to 5 claps method, also half claps exsist when voting too). First of all (note from kal: why would you have "First of all" two times in a row? Isn't that a little WRONG? And Matthew, as I recall, wasn't I the first to do a review, of Green Day? Don't you go preaching to me about how to do reviews, when I set the Matt-o-mac STANDARD of reviewing. And i do believe that I improved upon it with individual song reviews. While I can't credit myself with the handclap system, you and chris definitely DID create that, I think i deserve some credit for my reviewing. Well, that's all) the Doors is 60's rock band that was short lived after it's lead singer Jim Morrison died of a drug overdose. The band did release however many albums before hand with many hits. I'm reviewing their greatest hits album which (until I get some money) is the only Cd I have of them. The songs included are:
Hello, I love You
Light my Fire
People are Strange
Love Me Two Times
Riders On The Storm
Break On Through
Roadhouse Blues
Touch Me
L.A. Woman
Love Her Madly
Ghost Song
The End
The Doors use a great combination of electric organ, keyboard, guitar, and Jim Morrisons vocals while keeping it in a good balance and not messing up as it is very possible with this strange mix of musical instruments. But in every song they triumph over that possibility and produce great songs, my favorite being L.A. Woman which makes you feel like your driving down the freeways of L.A. in a real fast, exciting experience that leaves you feeling satisfied and happy your listening to Doors music. The only song I thought could have been better was The End which should have been longer.Out my rating system I give The Doors the maximum amount of 5 claps.
