Remember

Life is tough,
For teens these days.
The road ahead,
Is in a haze.

High school is gone,
And college is near.
Taking the next step up,
Is what some students fear.

Leaving their home,
And leaving mom and dad.
Some kids are happy,
While others are sad.

Many are keeping up hopes,
That their friendships will last.
Thinking about the fun they had,
And the good times that have passed.

Last but not least,
I'll say this, then I'm done.
I hope we all keep in touch,
Through the many years to come
