Why Linux? I love Mac. So why do you need Linux on a Mac then? Well, to run certain Unix software such as layout programs. It's also cool to play with another OS that can run on a Mac. My Linux Setup Here is my experience for setting up Chinese and Linuxppc on Mac. I'm waiting to try Linuxppc 2000 and maybe Suse 6.3 for PowerPC. Finally, Release 5 is here. It comes with the new X installer and a few more nice rpms. And KDE1.1 is great, although I still wish I have KDE2.0 so I can try out KOffice. I did try to compile a few components from KOffice and they are now working. Here's some screenshot (click to enlarge):
