January 4 - INOROGAN FIESTA
Commemorates the miraculous escape of the early inhabitants of Iriga from the eruption of Mt. Sumagang in 1614.
February 11 - TINAGBA FESTIVAL
This is an ancient celebration of the thanksgiving. A traditional first harvest offering, coinciding with the Feast Day of OUR LADY of LOURDES. Bullcarts, gaily decorated and laden with fresh farm produce and revelers in mardi-gras costumes parade around the citys main streets and end at the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto grounds where the offerings are made. This is Irigueños sign of thanksgiving to God for the bountiful harvest and immeasurable blessings.
