Élan – 2001 gelding by Wow and out of Ellie by Equubar. Wow is a 5-year-old 17.1 hand Oldenburg stallion by the Hanoverian stallion West Coast and out of Zookie’s Girl a TB mare. Zookie’s Girl produced 100% premium foals for the ISR/Oldenburg NA and made the Hanoverian book at age 21 being champion non-Hanoverian mare at that inspection. Ellie is a TB/Hanoverian and has a 17 hand half brother, out of the same dam, who is working 4th level. Élan is a lovely mover with a sweet and quiet disposition. We expect Elan to mature to between 16.2 and 17 hands. This guy is going to turn out to be a really nice horse.
ElanThese are some photos taken in late June of 2002. One of these days this kid is going to gain some weight and look like a horse! For right now he is a scrawny yearling but just wait until he grows up.
  He has his daddy's lovely neck and is so quiet and well behaved. He's a really sweet guy with a lovely floaty trot and nice canter.
