Stuffed French Toast

Stuffing
8oz. cream cheese (at room temperature)
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
any fruit (banana, blueberry, strawberry)

Dip:
4 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon cinnamon
3 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 loaf of French bread


Slice French bread into one inch pieces. Using a paring knife cut little pockets into each slice. (I tried to show you in the pictures). Beat stuffing ingredients together. Spread about one spoonful of the stuffing into each pocket. Be careful to not over stuff.

Beat the eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg together. Use the egg and milk mixture to dip toast.

Melt a little bit of butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Place a few slices at a time in the skillet, and cook, turning once, until both sides are golden brown.
