Sriracha Maple Bacon


Sriracha Maple Bacon



12 Bamboo skewers
2 Tablespoons Sriracha sauce
2 Tablespoons real maple or maple-flavored syrup
12 Slices thick-sliced bacon
Chopped green onions, if desired


Soak bamboo skewers in water at least 30 minutes.

1. Heat oven to 400°F. Place wire cooling rack in 15x10x1-inch pan.

2. In small bowl, stir together Sriracha sauce and syrup. Thread 1 bacon slice on each skewer; place on rack in pan. Brush both sides of bacon with sauce mixture.

3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until bacon is golden brown and crispy. Garnish with onions.

serves 6


Soaking bamboo skewers before using prevents them from burning in the oven.

Sriracha sauce can be found in the international aisle of most grocery stores as well as in Asian food markets.
